Constant problems
great performance and comfort. quattro is bonus in New England weather--but I've had transmission and electronic problem ever since I drove it off the lot. I have the 4.2 LOADED, the car was $52K- I expected so much more for that kind of money and a german automobile. Will never get one again or recommnend to anyone.Thank God it's a lease.
This car is bad!
Purchased the vehicle used, drove for 5 months...over $2,000 in maintenance bills! Attempted to trade in vehicle. Even the Audi dealer would only give me $4K for the trade-in. This car is a nightmare! My advice: Do not buy this vehicle, especially this engine model, unless you're loaded and can stomach the repair bills. Buyer beware!

Better than a Camry and even a MBE320!
Looking to replace our 1993 Camry, we looked at five different vehicles-- Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, and VW. The Audi A6 has the best interior bar none; I was extremely disappointed with the MB--they are selling status or prestige, but not quality. The VW is a close second, but has unresolved reliability issues, but the body is similar to the Audi, of course. Only problem within 30days was a HID xenon headlamp which was replaced under manufacturer's warranty. Otherwise, what a wonderful car...
Fantastic Vehicle
Looked at several vehicles when purchasing this vehicle. This is the best value vehicle I could find for the price/performance. Have had this vehicle for twenty-seven months and absolutely still love the vehicle. Just had my 30K maintenance checkup and rotors/pads were replaced (dealer initiated replacement). Nice to have maintenance warranty.
Scare the kids with this powerfull V8
I bought this car used with 7000 miles on it at the audi dealership, audi assured warranty gives me peace of mind. The ride is great overall, super responsive, smooth, fast, but with the standard 16" wheels, handling is a bit spungy, I upgraded to 18" rs4 wheels w/ bridgetone potenza s-03 pole position tires (great tires for this car, though I'd get lighter wheels if I do this again. Actually I would buy this car only with the sport package, as the standard seats don't provide adequate support, especially for the passengers. The kids love the car (we have 2 and actually like having two sculpted seats in the back).
