Good buy! but minor problems

I bought this car after reading all the reviews and forums I can find. Everyone said its great, but no one ever saidanything about the TSX brakes. IMO, I think the brakes can be more responsive. I had a 97 civic before this car, and it seems TSX's brakes slower in stopping than my civic. Now, I have to plan ahead in stopping. Another problem is the speedometer. The 40 mph mark is placed at what another car would be at 20 mph. You got to be driving above 60 mph in order to see the needle above the 9'oclock mark. That makes driving in city a pain, since the needle position causes me to feel I am going like 20 mph.

Does it measure up to the new BMW 3

I got my TSX after driving a Land Rover Dis. 2. Anything is better then that but the Acura needs to work on a few things. I love driving the TSX though the I wanted the new BMW 3 series first. I test drove both but went with the TSX because of the price. It is a nice car to drive. I would much rather have gotten the BMW though as it looks much better from the rear and has many other options the TSX does not have. But, if you want to impress someone with the price get a TSX.

Great Intro-Luxury Car!

A lot of thought was put into this car. Smooth shifting using the "tiptronic" mode, but sluggish on the low end. Get it up to 4000 rpm, and look out. Runs like a six otherwise...outstanding deal for the money.

While this car may not have the V6 that many desire, I find that the i-vtec 4 provides a perfect balance between performance and economy. I have been very pleased with my ownership experience and will highlight a couple of the top reasons why (not an exhaustive list). 1. Service - I have dealt with multiple dealerships to add accessories and get oil changes. They were all eager to serve and make their cutomers comfortable. Very good post-purchase relations. 2. Price - Multiple thousands of dollars cheaper than a comparably equipped BMW 3 or MB c230. 3. Interior Room - The ONLY car in the entry/ luxury category that can comfortably fit a 6'5" driver. 4. Features!

I just bought my Acura TSX and I love it! It is the most attractive sports sedan on the road in my opinion and people actually turn to look at it.
