Great car but!!!!
My wife and I purchased a 2022 Acura RDX with the Advance package.Took some getting use to the touch pad controller and still having problems. It is hard to navigate especially changing the radio stations while trying to drive. I recommend turning off the Auto Engine Idle stop each time you get into the vehicle when driving because I get tired of the engine shutting off everytime I came to a stop. Also recommend using cruise control less as possible or turning the low speed following distance to minimum on the Adaptive Cruise Control Low Speed Follow which comes on by default when ever you use the cruise control, hate it to can not be turned off. These two features are marketed as safety features but I believe they create a safety hazard as well. This is a great car but wish I could have gotten a bigger power train but there are no options. The wife loves.

Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
I HATE the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS). I’ve had problems with it braking when it shouldn't. It’s stops so abruptly that I get whip-lash and my seatbelt caused bruises. The cheaper Honda’s get a simple button to press to turn it off, but the expensive Acura’s do not have a button to simply press. You have to go through 4 different settings. There’s no option to keep it permanently off & it comes back on every time you start the car. In addition to the CMBS, I do not like the idle stop. Again no way to keep it permanently off. At least it has a button I can press each and every time. And why no rain sensor? My 15 year old car has zero features but has a rain sensor.

Lemmon
3000 mile and sunroof leaks. Been waiting a month for a replacement. I’m just going to tun it in under the Lemon Law. Apparently they have major problems with the sunroof weather stripping.

Better than MDX in driving experience!
Bought RDX over MDX and RX 350 F Sport a couple months ago. The comfort mode really changes to have the same manners as the Lexus. Only reason for 4 stars overall is because the gas mileage. However that is a great trade off for the driving experience. Drove the advance MDX but was not too thrilled. Of course it had more room. The RDX was more engaging driving wise and this trim has changed for the better in 2022. That was main reason why I ended up purchasing. Otherwise was going to wait another year or two. Have no issues with infotainment. Also the hater’s on having to wait to lock the car when closing rear hatch needs to know that all you have to do is touch rear door to lock the whole car even before fully closing. Also there is another button by handle that locks it once fully closed. Hope this helps. GREAT CAR! CORNERS BETTER THAN MOST SEDANS!

Despise radio system
I love the sound system but trying to use the touchpad and navigating around setting up your favorites etc is impossible and time consuming. Just leased have it for 2 weeks and I am going to dump car because of the radio system.
