Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
Review ONLY related to Navigation System
This is 5th Acura purchased as well as ownership of a Lincoln MKZ and Audi 6. The 2019 RDX GPS is the WORST EVER.

Electronics are ok,not great. The navigation is slow to respond and does not always select the best routes.

2019 RDX No Android Auto Software defects
2019 RDX Problems with Entertainment system. Acura says the problem doesn't exist. Took it to the dealer, they said nothing was wrong. Android Auto was promised. still not available. here's an example https://youtu.be/-lXnJrrkqCU One of the big selling points for my purchase of this car was the use of Android Auto. Acura has said that They didn't promise anything. Acura has been promising Android Auto for over a year: [HTML removed] Was Promised Android Auto would be working in a couple months. It's now been 9 months since I bought it and Acura is still saying that they don't know when it will be ready. This is a long ongoing problem with this Acura defect: [HTML removed}

Great replacement for previous model
I miss a little the V6 engine from my previous RDX as a driver valuing comfort over performance, but the new turbo you can also trust. The return to sophisticated AWD is a good decision. Comfort, sophistication, performance: I love this car. The 10 gear transmission may get confused from time to time when you expect too defensive behavior. Beautiful interior and dependable technology. Car Play eliminate weaknesses of GPS system (the way of imputing address is old fashion and requirers a lot of time. I avoid the Voice recognition use, it may create a lot of aggravation (I will blame my accent). Sorry, my RDX! I focused to much on small staff needed improvements, but I really enjoy driving my car!

Bad Choice
This is the first time writing a review pertaining to a vehicle , but I had to. I’m previously an owner of a Lexus RX 330, served me 15 yrs, just wanted a change . I did my homework , based on my research , I felt that the Acura RDX 2019 , was a good choice, price point , size , etc. I have owned this vehicle a little over a year , and getting ready to trade it in , going back to Lexus . The issues , the infotainment system has not worked properly since I bought the vehicle , it’s very finicky, syncs when it wants to. I have taken it back to the dealer twice for updates , problem not solved . My biggest issue has been the brakes . I’m a moderately active driver , it took about a year for me to start experiencing the same issues in regard to the squeaking , that has been expressed by others on this thread . I had the brake pads changed, still the brakes continue to squeak . After speaking to Acura several times, they stated that the engineers still cannot resolve the issue . I have lost faith in Acura, the durability and dependability that I’m accustomed to with the Toyota / Lexus brand is not there . So far, the car drives ok, but with these two ongoing issues , and making frequent trips to the dealer , it’s not worth keeping a car that’s less than 2 years old , and having these issues .I’m going to lose money trading in the Acura , but I prefer a peace of mind , durability and dependability over uncertainty with the Acura product. Please , do your homework . Definitely buyers remorse over here .
