Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
A disaster
Sunroof had to be replaced on first long trip. Navigation system is incompetent. Touch pad hard to use. Infotainment system froze and killed battery. Bad mileage. Bad dealer assistance. Am soon replacing. Do not buy.

Fine vehicle with a few growing pains
I bought a 2019 RDX after test driving Audi, MB, rangerover, and Lexus equivalents. Many were much more expensive. I found I got much more with the Rdx. Yes, it is the first year, and yes, there are growing pains. I experienced minimal issues compared to some online. The handling is just awesome, the power is great, the stereo fabulous, the room terrific, of course I would change a few things, I would change a few things if I got a Ferrari, that is par for the course. For the price/performance, it is terrific. I am having a blast having it for 9 months and hope to keep it for a long time.

Horrible
My 2019 Has been in the shop 6 times. I’ve given up on using Apple play and the constant freezing of the infotainment system. The dealership says Acura is aware and will have a fix. It’s been a year and now the 2020 are out.

not like navigation and USB
Navigation map can size in or out except for "explore" function; USB for music is terrible, especially for searching or go around the list.

My Acura future
I love car! It drives great and the dealership that I bought it from, NJ Springfield Acura, was great as well. I talked to 5 different New Jersey dealerships including my local ones, and Springfield was the only one that was very accommodating in price and easy to deal with. The other ones gave me long lectures on what I should expect in terms of price versus working with me on a package. It’s a very well made car as I loved the new look plus the panoramic sunroof really makes it. It also handles amazingly in the snow, much better than my other Subaru Outback and Toyota Highlander. My only 2 complaints are the usuability of the nav system (I wish it was touch screen which will make it easier to use especially in traffic but you will get use to it) and it’s not great on gas since it’s a turbo and requires premium. This was my first Acura purchased as I previously had at least 3 Toyota’s, BMWs and others but I will stay with Acura now as it combines luxury with functionality and price reasonableness.... it’s a nice packaged car and I can see why Acura is excited about their future with this car!!!
