Used 2019 Acura RDX Consumer Reviews
Infotainment System issues
First that I'll state that I really like this vehicle for the comfort, handling, and overall looks. My only issue has been the infotainment system. Aside from issues getting the vehicle "connected" to the App (they've since upgraded the app and no issues since), there have been two issues that seem to be related to software glitches. The first happened after a trip, upon return to the airport parking, everything seemd to be fine and then once I got onto the highway the various systems starting giving me warnings and the vehicle started to slow down on it's own and then I got control again and dealt with the dash panel system warnings until I got home. The dealer "flashed" (reloaded) the software and it was fine until today. During a long drive home, the music, navigation and other infotainment systems features quit working and the display would not shut off even after I turned the car off and back on multiple times. I called my dealer's service department and they politely acknowledged that Honda was aware of the issue and they were working on a software fix. He said that I could drive down and they would take care of the issue or he told me that they would simply disconnect the battery cables using a 10mm ratchet, connect the positive and negative terminals together for 5 minutes to discharge all the systems, then leave the terminals off the battery for 20 minutes and then reconnect. I did that and everything works again. A nuisance, but at least they 1. acknowledged the issue and 2. described the fix which worked. Cars and their electronics can have issues so I'm less than a year into ownership and I'll stay true to the car as long as these issues don't become an inconvenience or dangerous. Quick update, on 7/24 I had another issue with the infotainment system ‘going out’ meaning no Apple Car play interface and no Sirius XM. I had to stop and purchase a 10mm wrench to disconnect the battery, discharge and reconnect . . . Again! Now starting to become cautious about the vehicle on long trips. A quick update that I received a patch that appears to have fixed the infotainment issues, I’m a happy camper again!

Best package for all the tech features
This car is definitely way ahead in competition to others in semi-luxury / luxury segment. Honda / Acura aka Optimum space, I dont know how they do it; but way above Camry /Lexus or any car in their respective segments. Interior - overall - nice apeal and extra space to keep ladies bag along with sockets for another USB & cigarette lighter. Initially it was little difficult to get used to TouchPad but after 2-3 days of driving, it is comfortable to operate the same. In driving mode, you have sport & sport + or turbo sport apart from snow, comfort AND once you are on turbo sport; the sound of the car changes and you can feel & hear its craving, for the beast to let go. Mileage coming out approx 18-20 mpg.

I thought Acura could do better
The leather front driver seat is not flat. Doesn’t have 500 miles on the car and the leather has waves. Very disappointed.

I wish i never bought this car
I got problems with this car from the very beginning. 1. Very poor MPG -13.5 in NYC. 2. Rougb shifts between 0-25 mph. 3. Radar gets blocked constantly during rain or light snow. 4. Very noise brakes. 5. Awful infotainment issues. 6. Turbo hesitates more often then not. 7. Steering wheel does not come back to the center after left turn. 8. Backup camera gets blocked and become useless during light rain. 9. Practically no lumbar support. 10. Panoramic roof glass gets condensation every time outside temp drops to 22F or below.

I refused to pay MSRP
This is really a wonderful car. The dealers however are looking for MSRP and are refusing to negotiate price. Some dealers are even packing the car with silly dealer added junk to increase the MSRP. Not me, I will not pay MSRP for any car. Sorry Acura!
