This van had 19,000 KM on it when purchases. I have replaced the brakes twice in 2 and 1/2 years, and no, I do not ride the brakes. There has been one problem after another. Right now it is surging or slipping, yet nothing wrong with transmission. Last bill, for transmission, spark plugs, brakes and engine problem $2000. Not happy with this vehicle, and very disappointed as it is the first Pontiac I have had problems with. What is with the Brakes. How can they need replacing so soon? Why did they need replaceing at so soon after purchase? Why does the transmission slip yet nothing wrong with it? I am very disappointed in this vehicle
Captains Chairs and dual entry.
Would be nice if I could depend on it not costing me an arm and a leg in maintenance. The seats are extremely uncomfortable. Can't be in them for longer that an hour without sore legs.
I have a 2004 Montana too. I bought it at the dealer with 30,000km on it it now has 171,000km. at about 60,000km I had to change the brakes the second time.... 2x in 30000 km? bad I think. Anyway I had a cracked master cyl and needed new rotors and drum on back driver side was cracked. Transmission slips but they can't find a problem. Engine light comes on all the time. Everything lights up .. the instrument panel maybe.. Quoted about 1800 for the instr panel and bcm computer then another 1600 for brakes and rotors and drums all the way around now the van isn't even worth that. I'd be throwing good money after bad. I can't see the radio stn I'm on and had to also replace the switch for the drivers power window.. Last winter the fan for the heater went out and it's been mickey moused by a friend for the time being. I want this thing gone.. worst purchase of my life!!! Never again for an american car... grrr
