Used 2004 Volvo XC90 Consumer Reviews
Volvo is Swedish for junk
Volvo is Swedish for junk. Worst car I have ever owned. Horrible service - Constantly breaking down. Needs a new transmission at less than 60,000 miles. New Turbo's. New head gasket. Burns through tires, oil, and brake pads, latches and locks have broken. If you are looking to be unhappy about your ride it is the car for you! Remember, friends don't let friends by Volvos! If you buy one of these cars there is one of you born every second (sucker) otherwise Volvo would go the way of Dodo bird.
XC 90-I Love It!
We drove everything. Coming out of a 1998 Lexus LX 470, which is a pretty tough act to follow. Every car we drove we would come back to the XC 90. A blast to drive. Extremely good balance of appointments, fun factor, safety, good looks, fuel economy (compared to the LX 470). Hard to get a hold of a loaded T6, so count on paying sticker and probably waiting up to 3 months, but worth the wait. Did I say a blast to drive!!!

2004 XC90
Very few miles yet, but very happy so far!
Do not even consider this car
I have had this car for nearly four years. From the beginning it has had problems with multiple noises, loose fittings, frequent brake repairs, poor shifting with multiple volvo attmempts to correct, front suspension problems, horrendous brake dust, and the list goes on. If you like visiting the repair shop frequently, this is the car for you
What are you waiting for
The 2004 Volvo XC90 hits a home run in my book. The car has everything you could want in ANY vehicle, it just so happens to be a SUV. First rate styling inside and out , fantastic fuel economy 18/24,all the safety features you could ask for at a price, that while not the cheapest on the lot, puts most of the other so called Luxury vehicles to shame. The best Navigation system out there.I've had 3 others before and not one can match it for ease of use and accuracy.
