Used 2020 Volvo S90 Consumer Reviews
Annoying auto/stop
I traded my 2018 Audi A5 for this Volvo and 2 years later my Volvo has depreciated about twice as much as the Audi. I asked the dealer several times to find a way to disengage the auto stop/start, but they are of no help. I have to push a button every time I drive the car, otherwise there is an annoying shaking every time I stop and go. Not subtle at all. The Pilot Assist is only good for straight highways. Otherwise the car will weave back and forth over lines and turn off the road at exits when lines disappear. Lastly, the GPS is bad, and very difficult to judge distances when to turn. I always have to send the destination from my phone because the voice recognition is horrible. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking and comfortable car to drive.

Didn’t think I would love it as much as I do!
I have owned Mercedes and Audi but was unhappy with the maintenance costs. I found the Volvo S90 and feel in love with the quality, ride, tech, and overall design of the vehicle. I drove it to DC and back, in all types of whether conditions, and it handled everything the road threw at it in comfort and easy. Very pleased with this car.

I will not be buying a VOLVO again!
I have had to take the car repeatedly to attend to various problems. From poor software full of bugs. Now there is heavy vibration at 50 to 75 mph in spite of the wheels being rotated and balanced. The dealership doesn't want to deal with the problems immediately. This is more pronounced post-COVID. I am deeply disappointed with this whole experience.

Sexy car, impressive design, lack several things.
1st let me say..this is a beautiful looking car. I have the T5 with AWD and every option. I bought it with 10K miles. Many disappointments. One is the brakes, warped rotors front and rear. Harsh ride..Engine is not a refined motor for $50K To me...this is a $30-40K car I am not a fan, owning many high end cars. I should have rented one for a week first...Selling very soon.

Volvo The Luxury Sleeper
I brought this vehicle in 2020. Before purchasing, I looked at BMW (528 and 535), MB (E-class), Audi (A6) and Maserati (Ghibli). First it is noteworthy to mention that the Volvo is bigger than each of the cars in this class. However, this is the class in which the car heads compare the S90. Honestly, the Maserati was the most fun to drive. Love the sound of the exhaust and its response. However, I did not want to gamble on reliability. Never was really a fan of MB but I like the interior and owners that I personally know have had theirs for a while. I also like the cabin. The drive was a bit boring. The CLS was the only MB that I found excitement. My decision really was a toss up between the A6 3.0 and S90. Both of these vehicles are surbpurb. At times I question if I made the right decision whenever I see an A6. I like the luxury/sporty feel of the A6 interior and its navi. What I do love about my S90 is the tech, comfort, space and customer service from my Volvo dealer. Thus far, this is one of the best road cars i've owned. I will admit the others have been smaller (Maxima, Honda, Lincoln LS). She has no issue with keeping up with anything on road when I switch to sports mode. In fact its one of the cars in which I could tell the difference between the different drive modes. The auto pilot and camera warnings are awesome!!!!! My daughter loves the ample space in the rear. However, she is banned from sitting in the rear passenger seat. She has pranked multiple people by moving their seats and having them think the seats have malfunction or a mind of their own. Thus far, no issues except regualar maint and gas prices rising. Only 1 regret. I wish I got the Inscription for a better sound system. Would I trade it….Maybe if I could afford a Porsche Panerma or the Audi A7 I’ll consider.
