Fantastic Ride and Fun to Drive
Lots of fun! Great handling and acceleration. Amazing traction. Deciced to buy this car over the BMW 3281 x-drive.

Nice....but
I owned a Volvo C30 prior to this car which sadly had an early demise thanks to some road debris. I loved that car and since it had been discontinued I thought the S60 AWD was a good choice. I love the car but hate the handling on older pavement. It tends to ride down the road like a train rocking back and forth and can be difficult to control without 2 hands firmly on the wheel. When I purchased the car I noticed it had been in the shop several times for tire issues, new tires and alignments within 10 or 15 thousand miles. I bought it with 31k at 36 months. I had it aligned just a few weeks ago, after 7k miles since the last alignment, and the rear alignment was out. This helped but the car still does not handle the way I would expect. I own 2 other all wheel and one 4x4 which none handle this poorly. Not sure what's up or if this is just an issue with this car. Tires are Continental high end and have about 70 percent tread left. Update. I replaced the Continental tires with Sumitomo HTR A/S at about half the cost of the Continentals. Love these tires. I have driven about 12k on them so far. Car handles like a dream and is dead quiet on the highway. These were recommended by the kid behind the counter at a large national tire chain. 89 vs 177. I have had 3 sets of Continentals on three different vehicles Mini Clubman, Volvo C30 and the S60 and I hated them on all my cars. They're good when new but they quickly go down hill. I have now owned this car for about 4.5 years with no none wear issues at all. I put on high end front slotted and drilled rotors and replaced the two front Sumitomo tires at 64k. They had plenty of life left but the handling was not as good anymore. No other complaints.

Cheap & Tires Are Dangerous
Like another reviewer, we have have several flat tires in one year. We have two S60s and it's the same problem with both. After 12,000 miles, the tire lights came on and wouldn't go off when we put in more air. I brought it into Volvo Service and was told it was a technology glitch and it was fixed. A week later, they were on again. I brought the car in again and now they're saying that we have to replace all four tires because they're so worn down. This makes absolutely no sense. We are in our 50's, are very safe drivers and drive the speed limits. This car is only a year old and Volvo wants $1000 for the new tires. Pathetic.

Wow, Never had so many problems.
I have owned many new and used cars, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti, Chevy, Hyundai. I have never had so many problems with a car. I leased this new Platinum Plus package S60 after less than one year it was in the shop. I had the same problem twice with airbag sensors in the passenger seat, I was without my car for two weeks. It is now in the shop for an engine rebuild. This car as 30,000 miles on it. I have 4 months left on my lease and I'm hoping Volvo will just buy it back now.

Positive Across the Board
Purchased my 2015.5 S60 T6 R-Design Platinum brand new in April 2015. This is the ONLY luxury sports sedan that can tow up 3,000lbs and goes 0-60 in 5.0 seconds while comfortably and safely transporting four adults at a time. Using synthetic oil only, I get oil changes every 5,000 miles. At about 70,000 miles my rotors needed replacing. Between 90,000 & 93,000 miles I've replaced my battery, a worn battery cable, shocks and struts all around, spark plugs, air filters and most, if not all, fluids. This car has been awesome for me and my family in every way. We have easily towed a 13' Scamp trailer (camper) at 75 MPH. The rip forward one feels when you stomp on the gas pedal is always a thrill, be it at passing speed or off the line. We live in Minnesota and have a second home in NW Wisconsin on Lake Superior (tons of snow) The dependability of the AWD has never let me down. Though we could afford (and would enjoy an awesome electric sports car) we can't come close to justifying letting go of this reliable sports/luxury sedan that checks all the boxes. Nothing but good things to say about the car.
