Used 2004 Volvo S60 Consumer Reviews
Not Your Father's Volvo
Without a doubt this is the best sports sedan for the price, hands down. With all factors considered (performance, comfort, quality, reliability, technology and cost of insurance), there is not a luxary sports sedan on the road that can touch it for the money. I have previously owned BMW and Mercedes sport sedans. While BMW and Mercedes provide a better car in some areas, when you factor in the whole package, these cars cost thousands (10-20K) more to outdo the S60R. From a performance standpoint, go ahead and drive one, it will leave non high- performance V8's and most 6's staring at the S60 R's tail-lights. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing!
My S-60
Excellent Car that I highly recommend.
Volvos60 AWD Impressed!
Haven't owned very long but have owned Many cars & Minivans & I have to say this is my FAVORITE!!! This car gets up and goes, and safety...well need I say more than it's a Volvo! Looks GREAT! Handles well in and out of snow, just A++++ Car!!!
volvo is hard to beat
I have had 3 volvos,, they last, they are safe,, and now they are sporty and fast. This one turns heads. AWD is perfect in Colorado. A blend of a sporty car and a reliable sedan. I don't see anything else on the read that compares.
More fun than I expected...
After many weeks of test driving cars, I finally returned to my favorite Vovlo dealership to test drive a 2004 S60. As a former S40 owner, I was quite skeptical, since I had some mechanical issues with the car and the scheduled maintenance was expensive. I was trying to decide between the Volvo S60, the Audi A4, the new Acura TSX and a 2002 BMW 325i. I had tested the 2003 S60 and found it to be a little sluggish, but the 2004 was much peppier. I also like the small changes to the interior and, of course, the free scheduled maintenance. It's a fun, safe, solid car. Also, after wrangling with the dealership, I bought mine for just under invoice....
