Best decision I've ever made!
My daughter was hit head-on by another car and walked away without a scratch. Buying her this car was the best decision I've ever made. The car was a total loss, so I'm looking for another. Very reliable, roomy car, that proved to me everything Volvo has been saying about safety.
Better Than My BMers
Cost me less, has front wheel drive for slick roads and is much quicker than my previous BMW 533.

Pretty good car
Great performance car. It makes a lot of noise. Very squeeky. I guess because it is a wagon. Expect to put into it $200-$300 every 2-3 months. Repairs costly.
It is been good to me
I bought my 1995 850 GLT with 17,000 miles in 2001, pretty unusual! A month later, I had to replace shocks as they simply dried out - the car was not driven much. Overall, the car was very reliable and I feel very safe in it. Even though a fuel pump got bad (it was probably my fault as I often drove on almost empty tank to make it to work), the car never let me down on the road. I have been putting 30K miles a year, and now it has 140K miles, and still drives like new. A/C was the unit that gave me a few problems, but it was fixed under warranty. The dash is a little noisy, but it is OK, because when I was hit by a Pontiac from behind, it fell apart, and I drove away with almost no damage!
Great car!
This is a great car - unbelievable acceleration and handling (240 HP, not 168 as listed by Edmunds). I bought it last year, and so far, so good! The car is very comfortable, and is well- built. I have not had any problems with it, thus far. My jaw still drops when I put it in sport mode and give it some gas...
