The TDI provides amazing power and 28mpg! With a 26.5 gallon tank, I routinely get over 750 miles per tank. The solid and sporty ride is fantastic. Definitely my favorite vehicle so far.

Love the car as i'm on my second one. We have the 2017 WB edition. Quality overall in build quality is top notch. Solid drive and feel on the road. We always feel like we're in a substantial car, but one that handles extremely well and has a good connection between driver and the road. I have 20K miles on it now and had zero issues. Previously had a 2012 Audit A6 and that car stayed in the shop with major issues. Had a Cayenne previous to that is really enjoyed that car, but had some exhaust issues (had plastic manifold that had to be replaced). Touareg, the first and second, zero issues. Awesome car. Note however, the tech is just a tad dated but very functional. I added Apple at play. Nice addition. Edmonds asked for an update. I still have the car and still absolutely love the car. Periodically I’ll think about trading it in, then I drive it again and remember that I love the fit, finish and heftiness the car has. I’ll own another three years bring it to 8 years ownership

This is my second Touareg, also owned a Cayenne. This is the biggest bang for the buck german SUV in my opinion. I looked a the Macan and Alfa's new SUV before purchasing another Cayenne. The Macan is sweet, but a little small feel to it and too many technology components - i had a fully loaded Audi A6 and i had issues with the tech. The Touareg is simply inside, much like the Alpha. However, the alpha is too new to the US market and the Touareg is tried and true. The look is classic and the drive for me is great, solid, secure, high, etc.

Touareg- Better than my Mercedes Benz ML350

Love the car. Would buy again despite some shortcomings like Nav and entertainment. The 3,0L diesel very quick and surprisingly quiet. 8 speed transmission perfect match for engine. However, the Nav system is borderline rubbish (VW Nav has always been crummy- have 2 other VW's 2014 Tiguan and 2015 Golf with same Nav issues). So I use Waze instead. The sound system is definitely rubbish... shouldn't be hard to get a good sound system on ANY car these days. Doesn't matter if playing CD or Bluetooth input from your iPhone- same result... blah! Handles great, and safety systems very good (radar based cruise control, lane change assist, etc.). I've recently sold my MBZ ML350. I like this better than that (except for the NAV and Entertainment). But all else better. Aug 2020- have owned since Dec 2017. Still love the Touareg. Have taken many lengthy trips (500-1100 miles). Only thing I hoped for was better fuel mileage. It does seem to go through more Def-Blue additive than I planned. We monitor engine wear by using outside oil monitoring company (to monitor crankcase oil dilution possibility to minimum during warranty period- highly recommended).

I went from an Audi Q7 and an Acura MDX to the Touareg Executive and I love this car. It is a perfect size for me (6' 5") without being too large overall like the Q7. It is a dream to drive with the Assist Cruise Control and it is quiet and comfortable. We have taken it on 11 hour one-day road trips, which is a long drive in any car, and everyone comments on the quiet, comfortable ride. Given it's size it is quick and handles beautifully. The winter driving in Minnesota is no problem and the Off Road setting works well. I have put 60,000 miles on this car in 1 1/2 years- it does not eat tires, it rides smooth, it has been hassle free. This is a great SUV.
