For a car with a $ 33000 msrp it rides like a cheaper car. Transmission shifts erratically and has many features that are very complicated!

Most Bang for the Buck

Bought low mileage certified Passat SE. Seats look like leather but are much more durable. Original tires are a little noisy. Plan to upgrade tires and shocks when needed. I like a firmer ride so will probably buy Bilsteins later. Happy with purchase. Car has been reliable, fuel efficient. I will be changing oil at 6 months/ 6,000 miles for long life. 1 yr/ 10000 miles is too long for a turbo engine. Love the clean styling and bright LED headlights.

I traded my 2014 limited edition passat away for the 2021 SE and I really cant complain the new car has more features then the older one and the engine is a little bigger and i can definitely tell the power difference its a sexy looking car especially with the rims one negative is that i wish they still had the option of the V6 it would definitely give the car the pick up and go everyone wants. The interior is plain and simple but that's what everyone wants now a days. It has amazing space which you can never go wrong with and the gas mileage is amazing i can go about 550 miles from full to when it about to notify me that i need to get gas and at that point i still have 55 miles to go. I have one other negative in the base all the way up to the r-line is the fake leather it would be cool to see the leather colored differently then just black or brown i know color dye is a thing and different colors are fun and can let customers express themselves a little

Very Good Car

2022 Volkswagen Passat R-Line 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A)

Purchase a 2022 Passat R-Line Great amount of room interior and trunk, seats are comfortable. Rides better in drive mode than Sport. Great highway gas mileage. Underpowered especially when loaded with passengers. Not quick or particular fast but has a decent get up from 40-80 mph. Don't like navigation visual appearance could be more colorful. Don't like imitation dual exhaust. Small side mirrors. Features aren't generally lacking for standard. Not meant to compete against Audi, if you have too many features then it would be and also it prices would go up. It's just a Passat not trying to be nothing else, if you want more get a Audi A4 and shell out 15-20 extra grand or a VW Arteon RLine.

Spacious but sluggish

Rented 2022 Passat for several days. I found it spacious but underpowered. It lagged when accelerating. It also had more road noise than my 2007 Honda Accord. It was economical on gas.
