Pros:
Better for mother earth.
Fun to drive.
Roomy interior.
No more gas stations.
Large number of charging stations.

Cons:
Yet another big problem as of today (Dec. 19, 2021). The charging port will not open when I need to charge my car. Yet another trip to the service department. This car is not aging well, I have owned it since … 2016.
1. Falcon doors slow and annoying. Sometimes they open only a few inches then quickly slam shut. I was told that the sensors need changing and warranty has expired ($$$). Sometimes falcon doors only open half way and guests have to squeeze under. #embarrassing. 2. Front doors are slow to open, or they sense things (ghosts) are in the way and will not open, and the driver’s door slams shut when you don’t want it to. SUPER annoying.
3. The dark glass roof gets incredibly hot. Thank goodness I live in a cool climate. The visors are ridiculously small. Sun glare is very hard on the eyes. Every single day I wish I had a large visor and a regular car roof.
4. Model X has serious blind spots. It was a big mistake for Elon to reject the red blinking lane-changing lights on the side mirrors— such a fantastic automotive safety feature.
I wish Elon had put his battery technology on the body of a Lexus or Mercedes SUV.
If they come out with a long range electric car I’ll switch immediately.
Dec. 2021 update: Continue to deal with a myriad of problems. For example the falcon doors malfunctioned and shattered the glass panel on the roof. This was a structural weakness so Tesla fixed this several thousand dollar problem for free, thank goodness.
