I fell in love with this little car the minute I laid eyes on it and I was disappointed when I found that they are no longer being sold in the US. I managed to find a certified used one with super low miles. I live in San Francisco where parking can be tricky and steep hills are everywhere. I am also not a big fan of SUVs. This car has no trouble going up the hills. It is easy to park … and has more way more storage than the MiNi cooper. The handling is pretty good too. It’s the perfect car for a single person or even someone with a small kid but it I wouldn’t compte this w any other SUV out there. If you like a MINI but think you need something a bit more practical and economical, then this is the car. I’m hoping that they will bring it back in different trim levels so I can upgrade. Not sure why Edmunds is comparing it with other small SUVs. This car is a bit higher off the ground than the Mazda 3 but it is not an SUV. I would compare this car with the MINI and not with a subcompact SUV because that it is not. I feel it was classified as one for marketing reasons and people’s obsession with SUVs.
