Used 2007 Toyota Tundra Consumer Reviews
VSC and ABS failure at 500 miles
I had my brand new 2007 Tundra for less than 5 days before the vehicle stability control failed, along with traction control and anti-lock brakes. I live in snowy Canada and expect these things to work. I am very disappointed in the truck. I expected more from Toyota. So far, the problem is a mystery to the mechanics. At the moment, I hate to use the thing. It sits in my driveway like a giant black lemon. Ugh!
Bad to the Bone
I researched trucks for nearly eight months and then decided to wait on the new Tundra. I have owned a Toyota 4x4 (1992) for fifteen years with no problems and expect the same with the 2007 Tundra. It drives like a dream. The TRD suspension gives the truck a great feel on and off road. All the power you will ever need. Don't listen to all the little complaints about the interior. The stereo and AC controls are in the right place. There is not one thing that I would change about this monster. The Ash interior looks great with the black. Go with the TRD package in order to get the fog lights, all-terrain wheels, skid plates, and wheels. The stereo is as good as anything I've heard.

Love this truck
The Tundra has plenty of power and drives very smoothly. It can readily handle the twisty roads and hills of WV. The handling is responsive and it's easy to park. It rides high enough to see ahead. I haven't towed with it yet, but the power is evident and I don't expect any problem at all. I really love this truck. A lot of computerized stuff like all vehicles, but all works as advertised and no glitches. Lots of gauges so I know what's going on, including a tire pressure warning light. I liked that air and the 6 speed auto trans are standard features. And Toyota adds enough nice touches that it doesn't look like a basic "work" truck.
Good truck
First Toyota. Very quiet ride, handles great plenty of power for a 4.7 lit. engine, gas mileage 16 to17 mpg. Have cap on it, racks with tools inside.
Impressed
Recently bought my first pick-up ever. I took a lot of test drives in all kind of pick-ups, including the Tacoma but when I jumped into my 07 Tundra it was love at first site. I'm 6,4'' and was impressed by the legroom and the overall ride. This truck handles the steep hills and mountains of Puerto Rico very well. And with its bold, sleek look it's kinda fun to drive. The wide hood takes awhile to get used to, though. Overall, it handles pretty well. I'll give you a better rating in about 10 yrs. Thats how long I plan on keeping it. I'm glad I got this, instead of the F150. I'm happy.
