Used 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Best SUV
Just got it 4 weeks ago and enjoy it very much!!! MPG 24-25 combined great for SUV.. Have not seen close to 27 mpg.Feels like a full size SUV had a Land Cruiser and this about doubles its mpg and still has room. Finally got a price break at invoice plus dealer options -over paid for them.
Better than expected
We've owned a 2011 Highlander Limited Hybrid for two weeks now. Averaging 31.5 mpg. Very comfortable ride, even the back seats! Great leg room.

2010 Highlander Hybrid
Fuel economy so far has been better than EPA estimate (29-30MPG mixed). The car is roomy and drives smoothly.
Traded A Chevy Trailblazer For This
Probably about my 20th car to own, but my first Toyota ever. Wasn't interested in the hybrid model until I saw it on the dealer's lot. Gas mileage averages about 25.5 mixed driving, compared to average of 18 for the 2007 Trailblazer that I traded. I'm impressed with the build quality, and marvel at the hybrid engineering. With some practice I can optimize gas mileage when I want. Very solid, reliable vehicle.
Great SUV - no longer perfect crossover
On the plus side, it gets great mileage (29MPG so far), has AWD, seats 7 and tows a light trailer. For sheer utility nothing else comes close. On the negative side, the HiHy is no longer a crossover. My 2006 HiHy drove like a Camry and had seats and interior comforts like a Camry - except it towed my trailer, seated 7 and could haul a lot of stuff. The 2011 HiHy drives like a truck, has truck seats (particularly in the 2nd row), and is shockingly ugly.
