Good as A NEW CAR
i have the xle model and have booked the limited it should arrive in 4 months as a new car its amazing but rather than the limited if you can buy a used car than for sure go for the 2020 or 19 mercedees gls or bmw x7 yes they are a bit smaller but i think that wont matter as much as i think that the grand higlander is a bit too big and that the quality you get with the germans is better and yes i had no issues with the car for the 4 months with the xle

The love for grand highlander turned into a like
I recently purchased a 2025 Toyota grand highlander turbo max platinum. I fell in love with the power and technology. Every day I would take it for a spin even if I had no particular place to go. 1 thing I noticed was the exterior metal seems awfully flimsy. I traded in my 2016 sequoia platinum and it was solid and reliable as a rock. But old technology. Today I got some very disturbing news about my wheels.I had some scratches on the front driver side wheel that to this day think they were there when I purchased it.My fault I didn’t carry it back when I noticed it, but that was 2weeks later. Toyota had me take it to a minor scratch and dent place where they told me they couldn’t repair it the outside of the rim was separate from the rest of the rim. I believe they call it cladding and Toyota said I had to replace the whole rim which cost about $980.00. I think this was a very poor design because it should’ve been a whole rim and then it could be repaired. All the money I paid for it the rim’s soured my satisfaction a great deal for the vehicle

When will manufacturers stop making consoles…
…that go right up to the dash and cause right knee pain for tall guys like me? The Grand Highlander is a no go for me. Any ride longer than an hour is very uncomfortable. My current vehicle is a 2002 Sequoia with an “old fashioned “ console that makes no knee contact, - much more comfortable.
