I've put 54000 miles on the Echo in two years, and during that time the only glitches I've found were poor handling and soft paint. The poor handling was due to improper inflation of the tires causing a rearend skittering at high speeds. The steering is light and precise when the tires are properly inflated, and the handling improved greatly with a tire upgrade. So the only true complaint comes with the idea that a bug can go right through the paint. The hood needs to be sanded and painted.

I have owned my Roxy Echo for over 6 months, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I have a 4 door with all the optional features, and despite what this review says about the cost versus what you get, I think this is one of the most fun to drive cars on the market! A lot of people cannot get past the look of the echo, but I don't understand why. Even though its about the gas mileage, I love the look! Then again, I'm an eclectic kind of person who wants to drive something unusual and still hip. I also have to say that it's easy to get into-it's taller to provide more room-and that really helps because i'm not short! I was looking for an SUV, but fell in love with this echo!

I love my Echo. Very reliable, easy to drive, really good sound system. The mileage per gallon is about the best I have seen out of any car. I have never had any problems with this car.

VERY SATISFIEED. EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE APPROX 38/46 WITH STICK SHIFT. MOST COMFORTABLE RIDING VEHICLE I HAVE EVERY HAD. ONLY DRAWBACK IS ON THE INTERSTATE ON A WINDY DAY OR IF A BIG TRUCK PASSES ON THE INTERSTATE, ROCKS MY ECHO SOMEWHAT. GREAT DEAL.

The ECHO is a great car. its little, stylish, and very good on gas milage. i would recommend it to any parents buying a car for their teenager. i remember the 1st time i saw an echo...i was in love. though the wind might affect it, its not that hard to control. with the echo you really get alot for your money. i think that the fact that i could have had almost anycar i wanted (except maybe a Lamborghini) and i chose the ECHO, speaks very highly of it. The Rio, Accent, Focus, or Neon have nothing on the ECHO, i truely believe that its the best car of the 21st century.
