Used 2008 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
Fun car, smooth ride, roomy
Overall this car is a winner. It's fun to drive and very smooth (like a Lexus). I bought this car because of its room and style. Fits four adults comfortably and also can fit three teens in the back (need to cross-over the seat belts). I wish it had a little more pick up but hasn't been a problem. Wish the driver seat had a memory for at least one driver. Bluetooth for phone doesn't allow name of person calling to be programmed. Doesn't have the RDS (radio display signal).
2008 Solara SLE Convertible, <27,000 miles PERFECT
My wife loved her 2001 Toyota Solara SLE Convertible, we brought it at 60 K drove to 165K. We maintained and it is still perfect and as a toyota still has 100K+ to go, but my wife wanted the newest (2008 Last Yr made) with more enhanced technologies. We found one with <27K miles (amazing!), and had to ship +2,000 miles but worth every penny. BTW, coincidentally , I purchased it on Valentine Day for her (made a few extra points...) and it arrived a week later.

Best of the reasonable priced cars
Got an electric blue with all goodies. Have had convertibles for 40 plus years. This is the best all around car I have had. Why are they stopping making it??
In love
I love this car. It's quiet, responsive and fun to drive. Only a few things I would change. The angle of the clock etc, I wish it were slightly angled toward the driver,it's flat across the front and hard to see when driving, and the snap for the buckle is too deep by the seat,a struggle to snap the seat buckle into it, it should be a few inches longer. That's it, again, I love my car.
2008 Solara Sport Convertible
I did quite a bit of research and drove a number of convertibles before buying the Solara. All convertibles have "blind spots"... It is the nature of the car. I selected the Solara Sport convertible based on expected dependability (as per Consumer Reports, Edmunds, and Kelly Blue Book). I am not a "leather interior fan" and I liked the look/feel of the sport package fabric. The car has decent pick-up and provides acceptable MPG (I am getting about 24 combined so far, but I have less than 1,000 miles on the car, so I am hoping/expecting some improvement).
