I LOVE THIS CAR!
I have had this car for about 5 months now, absolutely love it! Fun to drive, reliable, I step on the gas and the pickup is great, comfortable leather seats, just a joy to drive! I thought I would like the heated seats better than I do, but I don't see what the big deal is really. I drive my car all over the state for my job and it performs flawlessly, unmatched Toyota quality. Mine had around 98k when I bought it but you could tell it had been taken care of. My speaker system is a bit flakey, the rear speaker is blown and two of the front speakers go in and out a lot, other than the speakers the car is great. Buy one and you won't regret it! Mpg is around 29-30 hwy and around 21 or so city.

Avalon is the Greatest
Our 2000 Toyotal Avalon is the best car we have owned. Smooth ride, excellent handling and great pick- up. Solid, safe car for family. Very comfortable seats.
suspension
I have had this car for almost three months and have had problems with the suspension. So long as I am driving on smooth pavement, it is wonderful. On bumpy roads I feel like I'm rocking and rolling. The main complaint is that they say it is a five passenger car so long as the passengers don't weigh more than a pound. With Passengers in the back seat the car bottoms out, scraping the road when going over any bumps. Sadle enough,Toyota says this is "normal". I didn't know it was normal to drag the road in such an expensive car. Doing my research, I've come to realize that the Avalon has this problem and Toyota refuses to address it.They have compromised on the suspension.
