It's a great car
The Outback is easy to love. The XT has all the power I need and then some. It's the perfect travel car for me and my canine travel buddy. It has lots of great safety features and a comfortable ride. Overall a ten.

2025 Outback Premium
Found the acceleration sluggish between 0 and 40 mph. REALLY upset that there is no built-in navigation system. How can an $34000 vehicle NOT have navigation! I was told that most people like to use their phones (Bull****). The Auto-stop feature cannot be turned off permanently. You have to turn it off EVERY time you start the car.Arrgh! Although probably not the fault of Subaru, the Android Auto system is poorly engineered. The audio system quality is compromised and results in a much poorer quality. I find myself disabling Android on my phone to use my bluetooth audio. I think the look of the Subaru has curb appeal, and the AWD works great. The entertainment system has a nice size screen, but is annoying to operate, but OK. Seats are comfortable, cargo space is engineered well, it has a nice feature of being able to lower the rear seats from the trunk area. I find the automatic trunk opening sensor to work erratically. Overall I feel safe driving this car, but it needs some improvement. Why they cannot add navigation puzzles me, as it is only a software change. Also, the rear view mirror should have auto-dimming and compass as standard.
