Used 2015 Subaru Outback Consumer Reviews
Great vehicle!
I bought the 2015 outback LIMITED with Navi. I have owned over 2 dozen cars, having been in the car business with Honda for many years. This is the finest car of all I have owned! The Subaru company works harder at quality and design then even Honda or Toyota. Being the little guy makes them compete harder and it shows. Couldn't possibly be more Pleased!! 😀
2015 ....Subaru fades
After 17 years of owning my first Subaru, I bought a 2014 . A total lemon! After much hassle, Subaru replaced the car. At first the 2015 was great. Then! At 25k miles the tires had to be replaced. At 35k miles the rear brakes had to be replaced. Then the drivers seat split. Then the back of the drivers seat ripped. And today, the battery went after keeping the tailgate open too long (1 hour). As for the seats, your are not buying leather. You are buying “pleather”. This fake leather does not tolerate high altitudes, hot sun or dry climates. I finally got an honest answer...Subaru is selling new cars with substandard equipment to keep the price low....cheap brakes, soft rubber tires, smaller battery. Goodbye Subaru...you are not what you used to be. I am looking at trading it in for a RaV hydride.

Crystal White Knight Ride
Very comfortable car for long trips. Best seats we've ever had in a car. Added Michelin Premiers at 40K for added safety - quieter than the OEM tires. Still original brake pads on the front. The added after market plastic film paint shield [Armorshield] on the front end is doing a great job protecting against paint chips so common in the Northeast. Still get compliments on the factory wheels when stopped at traffic lights - LOL!

Poor electronics
The eyesight system has gone out 3 times, Extreme!y frustrating. The rear liftgate works about 50% of the time. The other 50% you have to manually lift it up. Had the problem occur under the warranty period, but the dealers could not fix it. I have had it to the dealer 4 times to fix, but they haven't been able to fix it. Will not buy another Subaru.
