I am 66 years young and 10+years disabled so I make internet inquiries. I had spoken to six different dealerships before I met Jayson from Hello Subaru Valencia. I live in the Kern River Valley and their dealership is 124 miles from my house. There were several other dealerships I could have dealt with that were closer, two of which were Subaru dealerships. Jayson was the difference! He spent 15 hours+- answering all my questions. For example, when I asked if the clip in the back was metal or plastic to attach my dog to, he sent me a video within 3 minutes. Jayson was respectful and very attentive to my personal needs. They factory installed my mud flaps and handle on my lift gate before I ever stepped foot in their beautiful dealership on Friday, January 5th, 2024. Everyone was so friendly, simply put nice. I had a negative situation come up regarding my title on my trade-in. I actually went home. I was very upset. I received a phone call later that evening from Freddy, who is a manager at Hello Subaru Valencia. We talked. He actually listened to what I had to say. I made the decision to return the next day based on the conversation with Freddy. A 248 mile round trip. I was not disappointed with my decision! Freddy kept his word, yes kept his word! Freddy then did something I was not expecting...he gave me my mud flaps and handle for free, including the labor, and increased my trade-in value! The deal went smooth. Freddy even threw in a sliding cover for the back to hide my stuff! I am so pleased with Hello Subaru Valencia, Freddy and of course Jayson, that they are 'My Dealership' in my Subaru Starlink. My new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium was such a joy to drive! She handles magnificently. No stress or strain on my ailing left hand or my disabled neck. I no longer need cushions to sit on to drive, the seat was so comfortable, I never even had to squirm around to find my spot again. Literally the only vehicle since I cracked the vertebrae in my neck 10+ years ago that I can honestly say that about! From Valencia to Bakersfield I got over 40 miles per gallon.

Great car, large storage space with rear seats down. The base engine needs more zip. Very quiet highway driving. Good gas mileage. This is my third Subaru and it does not dissapoint.

lots of bells and whistles but quality lacking

We sold out 2020 crosstrek premium in favor of a 2025 premium. Honestly I cant tell the difference in engine performance even though the 2025 comes with the 2.5. Its fine, just not that special. The car drives very nicely, just like the 2020 and feels very similar to the 2020 model. The new large screen is nice but you still have to pay $2K to get electric seat and blind side warning. Considering the price, that is a lot of money for an important safety feature. The bid disappointment is the poor quality of some of the interior features. The flooring is not really carpet, feels more like felt than carpet. The carpet floor mats are very thin and cheap; more poorer quality than the 2020. The seat cloth is not great either but the addition of lumbar support in the power seat is a great addition. All in all we like the Crosstrek but are very disappointed in some of the details.

I gave a 4/5 rating because the CVT transmission is sealed without a deep stick. The dealer said you don't need to worry because it will last forever. When asked about the CVT warranty, he said it was 60K miles. I guess I will need to buy a new CVT if something happens after 60K miles.

Love the looks and feel of driving this car down the road. Have not bought a new vehicle since 2011 so we were very apprehensive about all the features that we had never used before. We were very nicely surprised how easy the features of this car were to adapt to.
