Used 2005 Saturn VUE 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Best mini SUV period
I originally test drove cars then started with the small SUV. I drove Ford Escape, Chevy Equinox and Jeep Liberty. As soon as I drove the VUE I looked no further. The ride was the smoothest, I loved the interior and it will pass a car without any problem ( I have the v6). Love the built in cargo carrier on back as well as the radio controls on steering wheel. This SUV is 10 out of 10!
Redline VUE is a Head Turner
I recently traded my 2004 VUE V6, for the new and improved 2006 VUE V6. This time I opted for the Redline version. The 18-inch wheels, wide tires, and tuned sport suspension offer a huge improvement in handling to compliment the 250hp V6 under the hood. In addition, the much needed interior refinements, along with firm bolstered sport seats, and aggressive exterior styling make this vehicle unique, fun, and versatile.

Dissatisfied!
I purchased my VUE just 2 months ago. My first VUE broke down on the side of the road 4 hours after purchase. I requested another VUE. This one lasted 3 weeks. 2 lights came on on the panel. Since then, the 2nd VUE has been in the shop off and on for 21 days. I feel ripped off. Also the dealership has not really done its part in making me happy. Therefore, I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone, ever! There have been wheel speed sensors, ABS modules, and every connector in between replaced on this VUE, yet to date the same 2 panel lights have come back on. I am so dissatisfied, it is ridiculous! I feel like I have been duped.
My First SUV
I Love Saturn, I've owned two lux sedans and one ION, this is my first VUE. It feels good and safe to sit up high, but I also feel very cramped. I just don't have any leg room to feel comfortable. It moves out quickly when you need the power and has good breaking traction. I'm still trying to get use to the quick response with the steering wheel. It moves to quick for me, more like a sports car should. I like it but I wouldn't buy it again. I stick with Saturn, but the VUE was not my cup of tea.
It's been a good car to me...
I've loved having this car over the past 5 years. It's been reliable and has held up in looks and performance. I've been extremely pleased with the aesthetics of both the interior and the exterior. I could never be happy with a car that lacked in either of them. The size has also been great. But now I have 2 large dogs and a child and sadly, there is not enough space when we go camping, etc. But I've really loved this car even with it's imperfections, i.e. the noises and the steering wheel stereo controls that change function from day to day. This will make a great used car when it's time for me to sell.
