Used 2003 Saturn VUE Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
FUN TO DRIVE!
Drove by the dealership on an errand and a blue model caught my wife's and my attention. Had to stop and check it out. Friendly salesman, Shannon, had us take a test drive, and my wife was hooked! Had been considering AWD but decided for the price, FWD was fine for us. Got 0% 60-month financing and the monthly payments we were looking for. Comfortable ride, handles well, sufficient power, and looks great - love the color. Junst a note - if you get one with color-keyed bumpers, be sure to get the stick-on bumper pad to protect the finish!
Beware
Don't think I'd get a VUE again if I had to do it over. Can't get the oil changes anywhere locally except for the dealership due to special filter and key needed. Ride is good, interior lacks appeal. Smallest gas tank on the market, on days where I drive alot I fill up daily. Radio is terrible.

Excellent road Car
I have put 20000 road miles on this vehicle so far and it has performed like a champ.I use the car for business travel and I am very pleased.
Shoulda, woulda, coulda
I traded in a Passat on this car so I could take our large dog around more comfortably for him and us. Wow, what a mistake. After German engineering, it is hard to get used to Spring Hill plastic. POOR, POOR quality. I knew that the Saturn was inexpensive, but I assumed it to be of good craftsmanship, if not of high end materials. Was I ever wrong. I want a divorce from the Saturn family.
Drive Every VUE that you can
I purchased my VUE about 3 months ago and have had problems with it ever since. My sister also has the VUE and never has had a problem. They replaced my steering shaft, my leather, turning links, you name it. I really like my car but can't seem to stay out of the dealership. My car does not ride or feel like any other VUE that I have been in. Drive more than one before you purchase this automobile.
