Used 2003 Saturn VUE Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Noisey Vue
Vue looks great can't complain about that. As far as noise the engine sounds like tin cans rolling around the engine compartment. Brakes and steering are great. Ride is also great. The Vue feels a little light on bumps. The only and real complaint is the V6 Engine in the FWD 2003 Vue. Have to keep the radio on to not hear the engine.
Fuggetta Bouttit
Its allright at first, but then evrything starts falling apart, repair prices rise quickly, it was a horrible investment for us.

Bad VUE
My brand new $26K VUE broke down at 32 days old.The dealership and Saturn Engineers were unable to determine what happened. This happened 2x. After the third round of breakdowns, and scared to drive the car,The dealership told us to call Saturn Corp Cust Svc & I'll jump to my point: Saturn Corp HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. All responses were inflexible and never answered my concerns. The point is:beware buying a Saturn- IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR,YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CAN SAY I cant imagine any manufacturer treating their customer with less value, so BUY ANOTHER BRAND THAN SATURN. Don't risk having my experience!
Fair at Best
My 2003 VUE has 70k miles now. I have used it mainly for long distance highway travel. It is a great car for short around town hops but the seats are awful for long drives. The cushions are too short and the armrests are way too short as well. The interior is roomy albiet noisy. The engine is becoming increasingly noisy and the build quality is only fair.
Saturn USA?
I had a`95 SL1,it was great, Bought VUE took advantage of the 0.0% for 5 yrs, Than whoa!! they started offering "down payment assistance",What happened with price gaurantee, they said its the manufacture that can change the price dealers won't.Than it comes with a new power train for the V6 its a Honda, they conceeded that japanese engineering is better. Still like my FWD V6 VUE, thought it had the best style and efficiency until the new one came out. Hind-sight is 20/20.....I should have bought a used Japanese SUV! Its also loud. I put alot of faith in GM hoping they wouldn't exploit the Saturn Name, but little by little they're chipping it away.
