'05 ION

2005 Saturn ION 3 4dr Sedan (2.2L 4cyl 5M)

This is the second Saturn that I've owned. The ION has what the market needs. Mid range in price, and a new look and feel compared to the SL2 that I had for the last three years. It has good power, even on hills. Fuel mileage is great, considering the cost of gas, and is coming in at 29 mpg (city)

This vehicle is reliable, affordable, and good looking. I met my newly married wife 2 months ago driving this car. It's one of the best things that ever happened to me. Thanks for making a car that got my wife.

Lovin' my ION!

Have been driving a Saturn since 1992 and have always been satisfied with the performance, so when I wanted a new car I went back and test drove the ION2. I loved it and decided on the spot. The dash layout takes a little getting used, to but the style of it is great. The lines are sleek and sporty considering it's a four door sedan, not a sedate looking car at all. It's very fun to drive and has a good factory sound system, no need to upgrade to something more exciting. After all, you can only listen to one song at a time! The color I chose was Storm Gray, which looks fabulous in the sunlight and is fairly easy to keep clean, but shows every little speck. I worry about scratches now

I will never buy another Saturn

I have had nothing but problems with this car. I bought it new and have owned it for three years now. It has had three transmissions replaced. The first two were in the first year of ownership. It recently had the bushings replaced in the front control arm. I picked it up from the dealer, drove it less than 30 miles, when the control arm came loose and fell onto the rim of my tire. The mechanic did not tighten the pinch bolt after servicing. I am glad I was only traveling about 30MPH or I would have had a major accident, loosing all control of the steering. It felt like the whole bottom of my car hit the pavement!! I can't wait to trade this piece in, and will never buy another Saturn again

My seventh Saturn!

I'm crazy about Saturns! I especially like the no haggle buying experience and can-do attitude of both sales and service -- I've been a Saturn owner since 1992, and this is my seventh Saturn. I was able to get my preferred combination: power locks and manual windows. However, they no longer offer remote locking system with this combo, so had to have it installed. I like the new dash design, and the visibility is improved overall. Much quieter - very little road noise.
