Nice Truck but Beware
I owned a RAM 1500 Express with the 3.6 engine. The motor had plenty of horse power (300) and got decent gas mileage (around 19.5 city). The truck rides very nice and is extremely comfortable. Mine was black with 20+ chrome wheels - Very sharp! Now comes the however part. My truck had just over 70k miles. I change the oil every 5000k miles and noticed I was down 2 quarts. Seems the Penstar V6 is known for oil consumption. I did read the using 5w-30 or 40 helps with this issue instead of the specified 5w-20. I decided it was time to part ways. Oil consumption eventually leads to all sort of emissions related problems. I do miss it though.

review
as for the reluctor being on a recall and no fix and that the reluctor will break and shut down suddenly leaving you stranded. dealer has NO fix. the truck runs very smooth after using fuel cleaner every other filling, fuel mileage is very good, truck ride is comfortable

eXCELLENT tRUCK
POWERFUL GOOD RIDE
Great truck with screen issues
Honestly, this has been the best truck I have ever owned. Diesel power is adequate, it rides very smooth, and hasn't really broke down on me during the one year I've owned it. The only issue has been the screen that has developed a bubble and cannot be replaced with an aftermarket unit.
