Tremendous Truck and Value

2021 Nissan Titan PRO-4X 4dr Crew Cab 4WD SB (5.6L 8cyl 9A)

I previously owned a 2017 Titan Platinum Reserve. It is almost like they had my list of changes I wanted to see and put them in the 2020+ Titan. I have a fully loaded up 2021 Pro-4x. The seats are crazy comfortable, the ONLY ones I liked as much were the massaging seats that are in the upper end Ford F150, BUT the shape of the Nissan Seat is better. Very solid stereo, huge sunroof, so far the build has been great. Quiet interior and it looks great (to me at least) as they tweaked the front end. 9 speed transmission is smoother than the 2017. Heated and Cooled seats also work much better so far than the 2017 (inconsistent). So far the 2021's have been very good though a shade slow to heat up, but they do and quite well. Great Tech on this truck also for parking and safety. I may have liked the previous Rockford Fosgate Stereo slightly better, but the Fender system is good for a stock system. Given the outstanding warranty it's tough to go wrong. Only drawback is the MPG as I do wish it was a bit better.

Love my Titan - Edmunds not so much

Wow - The guy who wrote this review must be suicidal….lol. What an awful, untruthful, and one side review. Is this guy a political commentator? I love my Titan - Why do I need ten engine, axle, transmission choices? You buy the truck with one choice right? You don’t drive the V6 on Monday then choose the V8 on Friday. The warranty is average…lol. The warranty is bumper to bumper 100k - Is that average? I would say like anything in life go experience things for yourself and don’t listen to the guy that never leaves his parents basement. Honestly I have owned the other trucks and really enjoy my Pro4x. It does what a truck should do and is very comfortable.

2023 Titan Pro 4x

I test drove Rams, Silverado’s and F 150s. The Nissan is a great truck for a great price that simply outdoes all of these trucks. I had a 2018 pro 4x, that was bullet proof. That is why I got another. Interior materials especially the leather look great! Seats and visibility are excellent. Gas mileage is on par with the others. Ride quality is excellent. I think this truck is definitely under rated and should be considered by all before you make a purchase decision. Great warranty also helps in deciding factor. Truck stands out from the rest in it’s stying. You do not see one on every corner!

3rd Titan

I just traded my 2019 Platinum Reserve which was a fantastic truck and probably my favorite I've ever owned. I traded for a loaded up 2021 Pro-4X moonroof package and all. I'm enjoying to large moonroof, updated screen and improved instrument cluster. I'm also a big fan of the new headlight and twilight design and look. Ultimately I will say there are some things I liked better about my Platinum Reserve. I liked the premium leather better than the textured leather in the Pro-4x, so far I'm not a fan of the 9 speed in the 2021. I find it rough off the line almost like 1st gear is too short to take off smoothly. I also haven't seen that it makes any improvement in fuel economy at all. As someone who uses it to tow,, I've never found it to be inadequate as many reviews like to complain about. I also like and use the utili track system regularly. As for storage boxes,, the Titan does it better than anyone as they are very useful and easy to remove if you need a full with box. Overall I like the 2021 just fine and am happy that I traded. I'm loving the moonroof and black/red trim on the Pro-4X. My advise to those in the market is to give the new Nissan Titan a fair shake and test drive one.

2021 Nissan Titan Pro4X 4WD. This is my second Titan (the prior a 2018 SL 4X4). Pros: comfortable heated & ventilated seats, quiet interior (at speed), car-like ride comfort over most road surfaces, throaty growl from the strong V8. Clear midrange and treble from Fender audio system. Cons: AC doesn’t cool well on extra hot days, fuel tank size limits distance (no larger extended-range fuel tank available), heavy steering requires a lot of effort at lower speeds, limited adjustability for seat height on power seat, 360 camera resolution not very high (front and side cameras are low resolution), rear doors do not open as wide as front doors, updated 9 speed auto transmission shifts more erratically than prior 7 speed unit and can be frustratingly abrupt at low speeds, bass from Fender system is not clear and easily overpowers the speakers in the doors and creates “popping” sounds, clear shiny plastic screen on infotainment system easily scratches (& did so using the microfiber pad the service department sold!). Update: plastic Pro4X trim on the tailgate has faded (while sitting in the sun) and it’s only two (2) years old.
