Used 2020 Nissan Titan XD Consumer Reviews
Best Value for the Money ! Great Truck.
I have the midnight edition of the Titan XD diesel (white with the black trim). It is an eye catcher on the road. It’s too bad Nissan stopped making diesels. I have always loved diesels and the Cummins engine on this truck is just fantastic. I drive 100 miles a day and the truck feels totally solid and sturdy on the highway. What I also love about the truck is that it is slightly bigger than the average RAM 1500, Ford F-150 and the Silverado. When I pull up next to one of them at a traffic light, they wonder what my truck is really is ! The interior is nice and roomy for a family of 5. The seats are great too for highway driving. Towing is no problem at all with this beast. My only disappointment is that the fuel tank is only 26 gallons. Nissan should definitely consider the 32 gallon tanks for future trucks. If you don’t care for the fancy electronic stuff and just need a good workhorse, this is the BEST truck that you can buy.

I really like this truck.
I liked this truck when I first saw it in July of 2018 but I wasn't ready to buy and I have always been a Ford person. I traded in my 2010 F150 which I purchased new from a local dealer and had numerous issues with the trucks paint and speaker system. The items were fixed by the dealer but not until I made appointments with the owner. It shouldn't have to be this way and I cannot comment on Nissan yet but I do hope we have a better relationship. I have to be honest and say I tried hard to buy another F150 but I just could not get them to come to my price. So I went back to look at the Nissan one last time, the trim package that comes with the truck is far superior to what Ford was offering at 3-4 K higher price. Nissan gave me Lariet options less than the XLT price! The interior is great and roomy, I love the storage system under the bed and toolbox and tie-down system in the bed. Ford didn't even offer any of those options. I only have 2 complaints the electronics are needing. (1)Pretty basic Bluetooth and the GPS system. (2) It is thirsty, but what can you expect from a 5.6 V8. The web says to expect an average of 18 between city and highway driving. I will be happy if I see 15! I have had the truck 6 months now, the gas mileage is still an issue 13.0 City and 15.5 highway, not very good. The "apps" like I heart and google search don't work and the Customer support tells you if they don't they just don't!.

Towing is where she shines
The only draw back is the price of the fuel filters. From the Dealer about 80 bucks, every 10K. I live in the country so not much city driving, but I get 23mpg . Towing she pulls like an ape, and still gets 12mpg with 5K load. Diesel's are sluggish out of the hole, but I-Drive took care of that, and warranty compliant. Best bang for the bucks in diesel world.

Love my new 2020 Titan XD
I've owned Chevys and Fords for years and really like my new Titan better. 1st the XD with the 5.6 and 9 speed combo compare pretty well to the Chevy 1500 LTZ with the 6.2 and 10 speed auto for far less money($25,000) difference! Second It has all the safety features without having to upgrade to a far more expensive model too. Third it has a 6.5 foot bed standard. Fourth it has a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty, that's a few grand at the other guys! I mean there's to much to list but do yourself a favor and give Nissan a look before spending your hard earned money you may be surprised!

Love/hate relationship
Bought 2019 Platinum last year. Has approximately 13k miles and has been in shop for 6 weeks waiting on turbo kit to rebuild turbo which was spitting oil all over engine. Dealership finally got part and I picked up. Now the truck is stalling on take off, actually died on my wife yesterday. In shop today waiting on answer. Will let you know when we get back. Other than this, my wife and I love truck. Keeping fingers crossed that it is something simple
