there is nothing better than the maxima. It gives you a little bit of both worlds, the luxury and the performance. is the best car I've ever owned. Nissan keep doing what you're doing, because in a couple of years Nissan is gonna be better than Honda and Toyota

This is the second Maxima I have owned. I owned the first car for 12 years and am still driving the second with 148,000 miles (17 yrs.) I love a sports car feel, so it has lived up to my expectations. The car is solid and feels comfortable and "broken in" the first time you drive it, which validates Nissan's attention to under-the-hood excellence. Since I am a stickler for maintenance, the car has never let me down or required costly repairs. I am saying this as a woman and senior who has owned a Maxima for the past 29 years.

Great car - Bad Paint

2003 Nissan Maxima GLE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

I love the car. It has great power and handles great. Im 6'4 and have good room except for the gas and brake pedals are to close. Also after you start washing and waxing your car your notice many new chips after every wash. The paint quality is the worst Ive ever seen.

I have driven my Maxima GLE for 2 years and love it more now than when I purchased it! It has great acceleration and handles smoothly. The BOSE sound system is terrific. Very reliable.

Recommend it, but...

I'd recommend this car as shown by the ratings. A few minor things to pick on. I'm 6'1", and this car is too small for me. My head is buried in the roof (moonroof actually) unless the seat is really reclined. Bose radio, heated seats and window safety switch all broke. Leaky window seals. Handles poorly in the rain and snow, but can be compensated for by an appropriate tire. Still, a very good car.
