Comfortable seating with a lot of get-up and go. Much better than my previous 2018 Silverado 1500 LT. Smooth ride and shifting in 9 speed automatic. Had no problem hauling 6,500 pound RV. With a mix of highway and city driving I average 20 MPG. Trackson on gravel and dirt roads makes it fun to drive.

Really like the truck, hope the 9 speed transmissions holds up well. I pull a 20 foot boat with it with no problems. I like the old style power steering gives it a truck feel when driving. Biggest issue is trying to figure out how to turn off rear emergency brake when putting boat in the water (lol). Not a real big fan of the GDI wished they would have installed extra injector to keep carbon from building up.

Poor quality

Nothing it’s been in dealers service dept since I bought it. Which has been a month and a half. Vdc aeb rab lights came up day one, no driver assistance menu comes up, no technology features work. Nissan seems to have a hard time figuring out the problem, To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Nissan corporate has no answers and I’m stuck with a piece of crap with no end date in sight. I have had fords, chevys, and rams all good tucks. This is my first and LAST Nissan

Although Tacoma and some inferior american trucks get all the attention, frontier will soon emerge the winner. Comfortable quite ride, plenty of power, and looks great. I've owned some of the competitors before, but this one by far is the best affordable truck I've owned. Ps. I've recorded a 27.2 mpg on my drives to LA from SD.

2023 Frontier Pro4X is a great value

2023 Pro4X is an upgraded version of Nissan’s trusty mid-sized truck. Originally under powered in earlier models (I previously owned a 2016 Pro4X), the 2023 model introduces an improved appearance and more powerful 6 cylinder engine with 310 horsepower. The bulkier hood and engine compartment provides a more traditional (or proper) truck appearance on par with competing class, more capable than a Ford Ranger and of better value than the Toyota Tacoma. Only downside is most 2023 models were manufactured during covid supply crunch resulting in Pro4X deliveries lacking in planned accessories such as having tow harness and hitch removed so as not delay delivery. Normally such accessories were standard on 2023 models. Seemingly Nissan changed its business model in 2024 and newer. Disappointingly, most accessories even on the Pro4X line - which was originally the top line model with most accessories considered standard - now has every accessory considered an upgrade, making 2024 and newer models a degraded value as compared to the 2023 model. Otherwise Nissan’s prized Pro4X rides and feels great. Save your money and buy a lightly used 2023!
