2025 Nissan Frontier Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Time will tell.
I had 3 prior SV Frontiers. This 2023 SV is not as good, no heated seats, no rails in the pickup bed for tie downs and adjusting the bed extender, in fact no way to put in a bed extender. Smaller engine and you can hear and feel it. The interior dimensions are a little smaller, the seats are narrower, not as much room behind the back seats to store things. My 3 prior Frontiers ran for over 250,000 miles with not much trouble. I think the 3 prior Frontiers handled weight in the bed much better. I do like the exterior styling better and it does get better gas mileage, but that does not matter if it is not as good of a truck. The old Frontiers were truck, trucks. This is not. If this 2023 Frontier does not go the distance I won't buy another. So you pay a LOT more and get less.
Depends what you are looking for.................
I took one out for a test drive and here are my thoughts. I rides, well...like a truck. Most new trucks like RAM have a very smooth ride almost like a car. The Frontier has a harsh and choppy feel to it. If you like that feeling and plan on doing some off-roading than it might be for you. If you are looking for the utility of a truck but a smooth and comfortable ride than this is not the truck. Also, as the other reviews state, the back seat is cramped.

unhappy buyer.
I have a 5ft x6ft bed and cant find a bed liner for it. I also am not happy that I don't have remote mirror control have to move mirror by hand. I always had remote mirrors on even the low level cars or trucks. Safety Hazzard Nissan should be ashamed. I have a S model.
Nissan quality at a all time low.
I have been a Nissan person since I’ve been driving the past 32 years. I’ve owned them all excluding the skyline. This 3rd gen frontier has been the deal breaker for me to ever purchase another Nissan. The trim is cheap plastic, camera is garbage, tires from factory is nothing but vibration after 60 mph, door trim on my king cab fell off three times, air bag covers on both door keep falling off, door alignment is poor causing door open alarm by hitting simple bump, and last but not least the transmission is horrible with the worst reverse delay to acceleration to point it’s dangerous. Making another appointment for service being the third time within 5 months of owning new truck. I haven’t even hit 1, 000 miles yet and compared to my first gen 04 with 478,000 miles on it this third gen is junk period.
