Vehicles included in the data set are exclusively retail registrations to individuals and do not include rental sales or registrations from government bodies. The Tesla Model 3 joins the Toyota Camry as the only cars that rank in the top 10 most sold vehicles of 2023.
The Tesla Model Y is the top-selling EV nationally and the top selling vehicle in 6 states and Washington D.C.
The Subaru Crosstrek is in the top 5 for sales in Vermont, Washington, Oregon, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C.
Toyota sold the most vehicles in 2023 followed by Chevrolet.
Ford's F-150 was the top sold model in the U.S. for 2023.
Hawaii is the only U.S. State preferring the Toyota Tacoma over any other vehicle.
