I had the car a full 1200 miles now, and I have adjusted it to the point of action. As of now it runs like a sports racing car, and you can hear the engine on both auto and man-auto, as it goes to through the RPMS. It has a great deal of torque and is comfy to be in for long rides.

I whish you would put the HP vs the cu. in.. The Mazda automatic is 40 hp lower that the standard transmition and you can fell the difference. Popular Science states that they had to de-tune the engine to save the torque converter. It is fun to drive and I like the shifter on the steering wheel, but you must be at 2500 rpm or better to zoom, zoom, zoom.

Mazda RX-8 A practical sports car

I really enjoy this car. It drives like a much more expensive sports car. The car is small but with plenty of room inside. I'm 6'3" and used to drive a Town Car.

I am having the exact same problems as "Lemon by GJT." I've had the car for almost a year & it has been in the shop 8 times already. It shakes, dies, won't shift gears properly, & makes sounds that are not normal. I love the look of this car, but it's performance is horrible. The dealership can't fix it & I really hope they will buy it back. It is great to hear feedback from the people that are having the same problems. "Lemon by GJT" or anyone who is having this problem, if you read this, please email me at fntasa98@aol.com. I would like to know how to get the dealership to buy the car back & how you went about the entire ordeal. THANKS!

May not start after short distance drive

It's a cutie but if you drive short distances, this may not be the car for you. It may not start if it hasn't warmed up or been driven for less than 5 minutes. One suggestion I've just read is to rev it up to 4000, and turn the key off while it's reving. Excess fule will be removed from the fuel pump and in
