Good car, don't get black

In the past, Mazda's interior design was light years ahead of anything American you could buy so I was somewhat disappointed with the interior design of the CX-7. Don't get black interior as everything shows up on it. It's got all sorts of "extras" I don't need and don't use such as blue tooth, 5 disk cd changer (who needs that), and a link for a mp3 player. I must admit the heated seats are nice when it's cold out. Other than these extras it's just a basic car that drives well and gets me where I need to go. I'm not much of a gear head so I'm not even going to try to say anything about performance.

211k miles and drives like new

I purchased this vehicle as a certified used vehicle back around 2015 with 45k miles. It had just over 211k miles on it and I have replaced 1 engine mount, front wheel bearings, running belt & serpentine belt, one set of brake pads, front struts (they were producing a clunk), and that’s about it. The original owner changed the oil EVERY 5k miles & one transmission fluid change. I have performed my own oil & transmission fluid changes myself. I started using Marvell Mystery Oil around the 150k mark in the engine oil, gas tank, transmission fluid, & power steering fluid. The transmission still shifts pretty smooth. The car makes no noises and the interior is so robust, it almost looks new. The fabric is very resistant. My goal is to make it to 300k. This car has increased my trust in Japanese built Mazdas.

FWD Madaza CX-7 Sport

Love the handling of my CX-7. Hate replacing headlights, have to through the wheel wells to get to them. Wish it was AWD, FWD drive is OK but in deep snow the snow piles up under the front and wheels come off the ground.
