2025 Mazda CX-5 Consumer Reviews

Overall a terrific car
New 2024 Signature Turbo. Great car. However, the Infotainment system needs a menu redo, and the wireless Apple CarPlay connection is inconsistent. Also the radio cannot be turned off without the Mazda Connect screen going totally black. That’s weird. But the CX5 really does drive great.
A lot of car for the money
We are a four Mazda family! We love Mazdas, as they are a lot of car for the price and they are reasonable to insure. Our most recent purchase was a 2024 Mazda CX-5 Preferred trim. It's beautiful and runs like a dream.

Much improved from old 2016 CX-5
At first so many new features are overwhelming, but they are very helpful once we get used to them. The CX-5 has been my preferred car choice because fits people well inside, has a good cargo area for carrying shopping, etc. It is very reliable, easy to maintain and to drive.

2025 CX-5 Select, Amazing vehicle
First Mazda purchase in 25+ years, and I am simply blown away at the quality of this '25 CX-5 Select (it's made in Japan). Fit and finish are flawless. The interior looks and feels very upscale, and the car is VERY quiet on the road, very little wind or road noise. Very comfortable ride, smooth with just enough of a sport handling feel for me. No need for a turbo engine, as it has plenty of power in all capacities. My only worry with the vehicle was the MPG, but the first 500 miles of mixed driving I am getting over 29 mpg. This should only get better as I break the car in ! I've owned a few dozen cars in my time (Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus, Fords, Mazdas), this is probably my fave of them all.

Satisfied
I bought CX5 last February just because my son need a car, I gave him my 2010 CX7 ( which is running so good with 190K on it). My new CX5 is really fun to drive esp in highway. I didn't notice about the slow brake as some complained. Kind of not nice if the speed is under 15miles/hour but once you pick up a speed, it run so smooth and powerful. Of course as expected the back seat have no space and small cargo space.
