Love it

Bought the car less than 2 weeks ago and am really enjoying my first Mazda. It handles well and I love having a manual transmission again. I like the bold styling and the silver color I got. I like the functionality and features, and the seats are very comfortable. The stereo is great as well, especially with CDs. As noted below, I would prefer to have a taller top end gear akin to what the automatic enjoys - the engine really does not need so tight a gear spacing at the top end, in my opinion. But overall, I would easily recommend this vehicle.

2010 Mazda 3 Grand Touring Sedan

I've owned the car for about 8 mos and put 20K miles on it. I ordered the car with audio and tech packages (bose and nav system). Car handles great for its class (suspension is a little soft for my driving style, though). Ride is good, but not great. Road noise seems excessive. Gas mileage has been good for me. So far I've averaged about 27 MPG (about 90% highway miles). I can get 30 MPG if I drive less aggressively, so I think it's very good. My wife really likes the car, too. Now she says she wants to replace her SUV with this car. I give the car high marks for its class. Compared to others in its class, the Mazda 3 wins hands down in my book.

Fantastic suspension, flexible engine, more features than are available on many cars costing a lot more, and decent room and fuel economy add up to a tremendous amount of fun and value. The car's only real shortcoming that I've found in six months and 9000 miles is that the stock Toyos aren't the best tires in the rain, but that's easily corrected.

No more Hondas after driving this car

This car is great. Smooth ride for a smaller car, nice and zippy. Getting 27mph combined and hopefully better after a few thousand break-in miles.I have been a Honda guy forever, but this car beats any Honda I have driven. Good choice if you like a quick car that has some cargo space and better than average gas mileage.I was impressed with the suspension, soft for a smaller car, with a Honda you feel every little crack on the road.Love it!

I cannot convey how much I LOVE this car. I bought it in Velocity Red with dual heated leather seats, 6 disc in dash cd player, bluetooth capability, you name it....and all for under $23000! I love this better than my 2003 Honda Civic EX coupe, which was a manual transmission. Too much stopping and starting to get the manual where I live, but I don't care. Smooth ride, every option is easily accessible to the driver. Gets much better MPG's than my Pacifica AWD, so I'm happy! Fun and sporty, what more could you ask for??
