More bang for your buck
Sold my 99 Volkswagen Jetta because it was terrible and upgraded to the 2010 Mazda 3...I car shopped for a while and the ratings for the mazda 3 were better than honda and toyota..I loved the new body style and felt it looked very professional and classy...comparing it to the look of other 2009 and 2010 cars out there..this car is on top! Both inside and out look way better than any other car out there...way more modern. I would highly recommend this car for anyone..I'm a college commuter and despite other reviews I get 26 mpg which I don't think is that far off from competitors and for the look of the car it's worth the couple mpg difference
Most Bang For The Buck
Test drove this and a Civic and handling and pick--up were like night and day. I was looking for something that got good gas mileage, but yet could still get out of its own way. This is this car! Pick-up is good and handling is exceptional. It hugs the road great and I was actually impressed with the lack of road noise. This is a compact Mazda, not a Cadillac CTS; there is going to be road noise. I'm 36 years old and starting to feel the miles in a car and after a 300 mile trip yesterday I don't feel that bad. This car is loaded with little perks which I think are cool. Overall I have no regrets and feel comfortable with this purchase.

Great Car
Purchased the car 3 weeks ago and already put in 1000 miles on it. Interior is very comfortable around town and on long trips. Mileage is not that great but it does have a relatively large engine so that's to be somewhat expected. Bose sound system is great. Would highly recommend this car.
Outstanding value
I purchased a 2010 Mazda 6 for my wife earlier in the summer -- loved it so much I decided to get a 3 (2.0 i Touring) for myself, as I wanted a little better fuel economy given I drive around 300 miles a week. So far, I'm averaging around 34 MPG, which is exactly what I wanted. Was looking at a Honda Civic, but for the money, you simply can't beat the Mazda: a car that has excellent fuel economy, comes standard with too many features to count, all for less than $21k? Great car -- highly recommended.
perfect marriage of tech and performance
I have bought the car after reading all the positive reviews on Edmunds. I l-o-v-e the car. The bluetooth music streaming rocks. It paired up with my ipod in minutes, the palm centro works flawlessly with the hands free. After voice training I can speak to the system even with moderate road noise and get it to work. The drive is awesome. Zips through the Washington DC traffic with a true sports spirit. Although a bit sad to not being able to buy the manual shift (marital issue), the clutchless manual does the job right whenever I need the extra zoom zoom. Turns on a dime. The handling is better than German models. Still have my 04 jetta and love it. The 3 outperforms my jetta.
