2018 Lincoln Continental Black Label 4dr Sedan AWD (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 6A)

I have a 2018 black label Continental which I thoroughly enjoy. Features like e-latch handles and 30 way seats are not found in German sport sedans . I like the comfortable ride , quiet cabin and heads up display. Car has been trouble free and the concierge service is great.

40 years of driving Lincolns and I had to put an alternator on my Mark 8. That is all. Can your brand do that?

Won't start

Car was delivered (new-97 miles) 12/29/18. 1/7/19 - wouldn't start, delivered with defective battery cell, replaced. 1/27/19 - wouldn't start; "system shut down to protect battery". 1/31-wouldn't start again in shop. Had it since then, 2/13, told today that "Continentals have to be run less than every 3 days, as modules talk to one another, draining battery". I say: BS. Has anyone else had this problem???

Luxury and ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS GALORE

No longer Lincoln loyal, 08/14/2022
2019 Lincoln Continental Reserve 4dr Sedan AWD (2.7L 6cyl Turbo 6A)

Maybe I am blindly loyal or I just don't learn, but I have had three Lincolns and everyone has had electrical problems. My first two were MKZs so I thought if I got a Continental, I could avoid them. I was wrong! The latest incident, the engine would shut off while driving and the air conditioner had a mind of its own, put it in the shop for two months waiting for a part. I sold the car since it was spending more time in the shop than in my garage. I did give the car two stars because it was outfitted very nicely. I will never buy a Lincoln again.
