Exhaust drones/vibrates between 1400/1900 RPM
I have a new 2022 but the exhaust noise and corresponding vibration in the pedals and steering wheel is very annoying. Test drove another new 2022 today that did not have these issues. After two visits, a total of 11 days in the shop, and replacement of several parts the issue remains and Lexus has now washed their hands and told me that’s just too bad. It’s operating as intended in their words, but obviously not, or they would not have worked on it two times and replaced parts. Very disappointed in Lexus quality and there their response to customer issues. If they don’t deal with this in a better fashion, they can put me down as a never again customer, and I warn everyone looking at ANY RX 350 to carefully check for this issue. All you have to do is leave the car in park, and very slowly rev the engine between idle and about 2000 RPM . If you hear any abnormal, droning , rumbling or vibrations run from the car, because Lexus will not fix it!

beauty and gremlins
Our 2022 RX350 is very nicely finished, but they have never fixed the horrendous drone and vibration that many, but not all 2022's have which dealer personel say is normal and corporate said you it is normal. So learn to live with it. Poor answer when you spend 60k for a supposed "LUXURY TOYOTA PRODUCT". hk

Exhaust Drone and Vibration Problems
Not sure about the statistic number, but a large amount(Maybe 50%) of RX350 has the Exhaust Drone and Vibration issue(Just google it). Lexus chooses to ignore it and note it as normal. Ironically they are pursuing 0 NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) at the same time as Luxury Brand. Be careful of this issue before you buy this car!!!

Love my 2022 RX350; learning features.
I bought my RX350 Premium 2 weeks ago, only 42 miles driven so far. Drives smoothly and comfortably; no exhaust drone or vibration unlike the earlier review. I learned how to operate Android Auto so I can connect my smartphone by USB cable to use Google Maps. I did not get the Navigation System option but using Android Auto displays navigation on the standard 8-inch screen. I enjoy the standard 9 speaker Lexus Multimedia System (has a CD player!) Don't believe all that hype about needing to order the Mark Levinson music system, unless you have to drive a concert hall all day long. Oh, yes. I have no problem using either the display screen or the touch pad on my 2022 RX350. I find the touch pad user friendly, and the standard 8-inch display screen is within easy reach for me to touch (I am 6-foot, 1 inch). The NuLuxe seats feel so plush and comfortable as I drive. I did not find LexusApp that useful. I really don't care to start my car using my smartphone. I prefer to hold my fob key and start my RX350 the old-fashioned way. Lexus Enform seems useful, but Amazon Alexa Compatible? I am driving a luxury SUV, not a living room! So far, I have not used the kick sensor for the power rear door. It's simple enough to touch the button on the rear tailgate. All my grocery bags are next to me in a shopping cart when I get to the car. I love having the moonroof and look forward to opening it in cooler weather. After reading all the marketing information about "paint protection film" or "ceramic coatings", I prefer to apply a paste or liquid wax which seems less intimidating to perform. I just don't draft behind tractor-trailers on the freeway and look far ahead for trouble on the road. I can always afford to get a quality paint job several years later if the front end and hood gets chipped up.

I love the exterior and interior 2022 RX 350
I am not happy however with the road noise and instances when it feels the engine is sluggish! Also I feel a thumping at times! Took to dealer but no solution!

Very Disappointed after Relying on Reviews
I relied on Lexus for their quality and reliability. I told the dealer exactly what I wanted after test driving many 2022 RX 350. The dealer found what I wanted and my mistake was that after he brought it in from MA to NJ, I didn't test drive this vehicle because I already drove many of the same vehicle. This vehicle is not smooth (shudders) in between 10 miles an hour and 35 miles an hour. My personal mechanic said the gears are rubbing. When I took it to Lexus, they said that this is normal!! However, when I take it in for my service (5,000 miles and 10,000 miles), the same year and make loaner doesn't do this!!! I had the Lexus mechanic drive it with me and he said he heard and felt the vibration too but when they brought the Lexus engineer in, he said it was normal.... I waited so long to get this car and can't wait to get rid of it. I should be loving the first year of my new car but it is nothing but a headache and I don't even enjoy riding in it. I probably got a LEMON.

Smooth and quiet
We bought this vehicle for its reliable reputation. It’ll also be one of the last naturally aspirated 6 cylinders with both port and direct injection. We love the vehicle- it seems well built, quiet, and has an exceptional ride quality. Comfort is well above average also.
DON'T PUT YOUR MONEY HERE!
I previously owned a Toyota Avalon, and then the Lexus ES350. The family has owned Camrys, Tacomas & Highlanders, so we are sold on the brand 100%. Love, love, love them. Unfortunately, I chose to buy a new 2022 Lexus RX350 in September 2022. Waited for it to be manufactured. Did not notice anything initially. Now, the transmission emits annoying moaning sounds, and some vibrations upon initial acceleration, up to about 30 mph. (rpm range of 1250-1500) The sounds are definitely NOT LEXUS QUALITY for a $60k luxury vehicle. It purrs like a kitten once you get over ~35-40 mph and you are coasting at speed. DEALER & TOYOTA'S RESPONSE: Normal, that is how they sound. Problem #2: I am getting 25% less gas mileage in the city. That's significant! Saving my gas receipts with calculations as proof. Also, the car itself indicates between 13-15 mpg! Not the ~20 in the city. The Lexus app states that I am a good to excellent driver. My RX350 has approximately 1600 miles, with two trips to my dealership complaining of the issues. DEALER'S RESPONSE #2: The trans has 8 gears instead of 6, and it has 2 tailpipes, so it's somewhat louder. Also, switch the car into "sport mode" every time you drive; the gas mileage will improve and in "sport" the transmission will quiet. Suppose if you don't want your rpm's to double, that may be the bandaid fix. No service was performed. Just a test drive. This is definitely a performance NO. Smoke and mirrors!
Look elsewhere for mid-size SUV
Researched for months for the perfect mid-size SUV to replace a full size SUV - one that would last 10+ years. Decided on the RX due to Lexus' reputation for superior quality and reliability. Positives: exterior and interior styling, technology (navigation), safety features, adaptive cruise control Negatives: After driving for a week, vehicle ride is not smooth at all, transmission is jerky and surges (especially at lower speeds), has squeaks and rattles in multiple places, and rearview mirror on drivers side vibrates making it difficult to actually use. Brought to dealer and I'm told transmission is "normal", mirror issue is known and has no fix, and not all of the squeaks/rattles were addressed. Overall, very disappointed in this vehicle and in Lexus at this point. 7 months and 5K miles later: transmission has somewhat improved though still noticeable at certain speeds, still have rattles and squeaks coming from the door and glove box.

Luxury with a need for just a bit more
Just picked up a fully optioned out 2022 RX350 with Luxury pkg. My wife and I wanted the most comfortable and reliable vehicle we could get but still with buttons on the dash! Very pleased with the fit and finish of overall features of this vehicle. It’s all we needed and more. But I do wish that at this price point they had added a few more luxury items to perfect it. With the upgraded seats it would have been nice had they allowed the front passenger seats to include it’s own memory settings as they do in the European version of this vehicle. Also for the rear seat passenger the ability to move the front passenger seat forward with a switch on the side of the seat as in my 2004 LS430. LED door projector lights would have also been nice too. Perhaps most of all automatic soft close doors would have been a great treat. Knowing this is the last model year I understand but the dash info screen being better resolution. That being said things that make this vehicle a gem…the power mapping for this engine. So much smoother than our previous ‘15 ES350. The Mark Levinson sound system is the best we’ve ever had. The visibility and ride height with the front camera make it all too easy to enjoy! Lexus build quality hasn’t wavered all these years. Looking forward to many miles with this one!

I was not going to buy the RX until 2023, but when I found out that this was the last year for the V-6 that convinced me to buy this year. The 2023 turbo engine has more to go wrong with it, slightly underpowered, and noiser.

Greg suv
The suv is great car, the technology is out of date compared to other luxury suv, does not have wireless Apple play, the touch screen is far from the driver without getting distracted, the track pad for the information system is useless The interior color selection is limited and all the selection has a black accent which make the interior very dark, also the highway noise is very high However everything thing else works perfectly

Loveable, Liveable, Longlasting Lexus
There’s no other SUV that will give you the comfort, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness of operation than a Lexus RX350. This 2022 vehicle replaces our excellent condition 140,000 mile 2012 RX350 that was lost to the Hurricane Ida flood.
Best SUV money can buy
I’ve had 3 Lexus in the past 3 years my first Lexus was a 2015 Lexus RX 350 premium it was decent but it just didn’t have the features I liked but overall a good suv then a year later I got into a 2016 Lexus RX350 in 2019 Bought with 47,000 and barely drove it a weekend car it was fully spec out with all the features and technology it could possibly have then I saw the 2022 Lexus RX350 base I was playing on selling and leasing a new 2022 Lexus RX350 F sport fully spec out since It would only be a weekend car but decide to go with a base model and all I can say is that this is hands down one of the best suv in 2022 that money can buy in my perspective I’ve been in the automotive industry for more than 15 years and truly Lexus has personally been my favorite the 2022 base model has some features like car play lane departure and most importantly auto braking if your to close. The only downside is that there is no sunroof but where I live in south Florida it’s to hot to have the sunroof open. I’ve had it since oct 30, 2021 but I’ve decided to sell it and lease a 2022 premium model nori green with hazelnut interior fully spec out to my liking.

I love everything about this vehicle. Wonderful space to enter, start it and feel the world quiet down a bit. Great turning radius and handling, fantastic visibility and safety features. Would continue to purchase the lexus brand.
Great Lexus! 2022 Rx 350 F Sport
Car is very well made and silky smooth powertrain. Reg unleaded gas in a Lexus is rare and appreciated at the pump! Premium radio is great in this particular lexus, I own two late model Lexus models with Mark Levinson that are great in those vehicles, but in RX premium radio in Fsport trim is perfect and 360 view monitor is super nice parking aid. I have almost 6K miles with one long 2500 mi round trip and car performed very well. Fsport pkge is great and saves you quite a bit over luxury. I’m 63 yrs old and seats are very comfortable and car is great for taller/ large shoulder guys too. I like the sport+ option mode, but you only appreciate that when having to navigate freeway driving ….ramps/merges and other challenging driving situations , then it’s greatly appreciated! Make sure you test drive the actual car you are buying before purchase.

Rid of bad caddy
After owning so many Cadillacs the 2021 and 2022 XT5 were in the garage constantly. We had to file lemon law on both. We had enough of living in garages and bought a 2022 Lexus RX350. We have over 2000 miles and so far an excellent car. More comfortable ride, much more quiet and has everything the Cadillacs had and more except hud, which nothing available in where we live. And cost way less. We received a letter from Cadillac recently telling us the part was in for the 2022 which we didn’t know it needed.

2022 Lexus RX 350L
1. While the A/C cools it doesn't do as good a job as our ES 350. 2. Controls on the steering wheel are easier to use than the ES. 3. Cruise control is easier to activate and change speeds than the ES. 4. Navigation is not easy to use. Voice commands for locations are rarely found. To enter the address manually you must be stopped, even though your passenger could enter the information safely, they are not allowed to do so. 5. Birds-eye view is a great technology and safety function. Unfortunately, it only comes with the navigation system. 6. SXM radio also isn't as easy to access as on our ES.

Beautiful Intelligent Choice
The quality of materials, overall styling, ride comfort, paint, brakes, tech, sound sytem and safety features makes the RX a top notch choice. Superior engineering, parts and construction define true quality that speaks to Lexus' reliability. A "Keeper" that will keep providing what it claims for hundreds of thousands of miles if well maintained. A" real" vehicle and highly recommended.
Last of the V6's in the RX-350
A matter of opinion -but to me the V6 RX350 was the gold standard of smooth and dependable. Yes I've driven the new RX turbo-4 the hybrid, etc. Nothing wrong with it -but frankly not sure what was gained in economy and longterm reliability is yet to be determined. Instead of trading in my aging RX for a new one I went and found a 22 with low miles. With regular maintenance it will outlive me.

10k Review - Trading for a truck…
I originally decided to treat myself and leased an IS350 F-Sport. A year into that lease, it became a regret due to the small size. It was a pretty cramped car and I’m not even a big guy(6’1 170). When I took it in for its 10k service, I was given a RX350 loaner with 16k miles and I have to say I was impressed. It was a base RX350. It drove surprisingly similar to the IS but had the size of a SUV. When I got the IS back, I immediately missed the SUV size… so I decided to trade in the IS and leased a base RX… Well, coming up on a year of having the RX and close to 10k miles, I have to say… I DO like the RX, HOWEVER… My issues with the RX are… the seats: they’re just NOT that comfortable for a luxury SUV, which is surprising. I’ve taken a few 2+ hour trips in the RX and had to adjust myself several times during those trips. The back of the seat isn’t bad, but the seat itself is oddly firm. I really don’t understand the decision for the seats by Lexus. The IS I leased prior had the F-Sport seats and those were very comfy. My second issue is the MPGs. The MPG that I get is very hit or miss. When I first got the RX, I was averaging roughly 18-20 combined with mostly hwy driving and that hasn’t really changed. I HAVE gotten 24-25 mpg but I have to drive over an hour to typically get that AND it’s mostly at 65 mph. When I bump it to 75-80 mph, it falls to 22-23 mpg quite quickly. Most of the time, I’m getting 20 mpg and that’s on my short drive to work which is 10-15 minutes and 95% highway. I’ve NEVER gotten the quoted 26 mpg EVER. My third issue is one that’s developed in the time that I’ve had the SUV, and that’s the steering wheel. I’m just not a fan of the mostly wood steering wheel. It just doesn’t FEEL right. I’m usually holding the wheel with one hand at the 10 position. But sometimes it’s more comfortable at the 12 position for driving and I’m just not a fan of the wood feel. Also, being that it’s wood, the heat feature is kind of pointless because you HAVE to hold the leather sides to get the benefit 🤦🏻♂️ Other than those things, it’s been a great vehicle and I do appreciate the space. It’s absolutely one of the finest driving experiences I’ve ever had in ANY vehicle. The engine/transmission combo are absolutely BUTTER smooth. You basically do not ever feel shifts while driving and for an 8 speed transmission 👏🏻 kudos to Lexus engineers on that! Also, I have to say, I’ve been absolutely spoiled by the “auto” everything in the vehicle. You name it, it’s got an auto setting. High/low beams, windows, heat/ac, wipers, heated/cooled SEATS! Auto everything! You get in and drive and don’t have to think about anything! It’s damn nice! So, why am I looking at a truck?? Well, because I’ve wanted one for a while now. I actually wanted one when I got the RX but Lexus doesn’t make trucks. So I got the RX which did remedy the space issue of the IS. But, for the reasons I gave above, mostly the lack of seat comfort, I’m looking into a truck. And mpg figures these days for V8s are very similar to the 3.5L in the RX with real world use. Which is kind of sad for Lexus… I’ve actually got my eye on a Nissan Titan and thanks to a test drive yesterday, I REALLY want one! So I’ll probably be saying bye to this RX if Nissan will fully buy it out, which they seem to be willing to do! ✌🏻

I love everything about this car minus the lag in the gas pedal. It’s so frustrating when you’re expecting to go after pressing the gas only to experience a lag. Once it finally catches on it’ll definitely move though.

Over rated
This is my second lexus in 7 years and both have come with major disappointments. 2017 nx200t idled so roughly you can see the headlights vibrating. Traded up to a 2022 rx350 only find the car has the most annoying loud drone at low rmps. What gives !!! This is luxury? Yes both cars have been reliable but there is nothing luxury about the drive. Jerky sluggish and loud.
