Who allowed this electronics interface to be released???
Over my driving life, I've owned more than 30 cars of many different makes and models. I've spent my 20 year career in technology. I enjoy cars and I love tech and am tech savvy. This car, by far, has the absolute worst electronics interface I've ever seen. I had read it was bad, but with my experience thought, how bad can it really be? Well, it's awful... I'm frankly dumbfounded. Toyota is known for being overly intrusive / nannyish, but this is absurd. There aren't preset buttons to change the station, just steering wheel controls. It always want to show the map and overlay other info (but only for a little while). In short, it kind of ruins what is otherwise a really great car.
Lexus Love!
Shop around like I did for months!.............This is the best value for a crossover Luxury high end vehicle!! The Bumper to Bumper value, feel of comfort , and "knowing you have no issues" feeling of purchasing this beautiful vehicle will give you goosebumps! I looked at Acura, Lincoln , and various Toyota SUVs ,But after driving all, researching , and using different metrics, i bought this 2015 F series 350RX.. The F series leather, the front bumper, the various F series clad chrome, and other special features will make other driver's look with awe!! Did I mention the fantastic Lexus warranty!?

Older models are better
I found out about some things on the 2015 compared to my 2010 RX.. 2010 rx has moving headlights when turning, 6 disk CD player, Hi beam auto dimming, clearer Bluetooth when talking to some one Via Car to cell ph. (sounds tinny on the 2015) . The back doors on the 2010 has larger pockets then the 2015. The 2015 does not have any of these things. looks like the only advantage to me is the blind spot monitor. The Garage door opener is in a better location on the 2010, It is now on the mirror which can move when using it. The inside of the head lights fog a little when high humid on the 2015. You can see it when the lights are on. These are my observations when talking to other people and
Luxurious but Dissapointing
I had a RX 300 and then a RX 350, 2009, both of which I loved. They drove like a car and felt like a car, but had the extra room of an SUV. A true crossover car. However, this car is bigger and feels like you're driving a boat. It drives like a large SUV, which I did not want. I can't even see over the hood very well and the seats are up as far as they can go, so now, I have an extra seat cushion. So much for the heated and air conditioned seats. The 2009 was much more comfortable. I really miss the arm rest in the 2009. I make a shake in the morning and now, the cup holders are even smaller!!! I know this is a little thing, but it only holds a water bottle, not my shaker bottle! Why? Why, Lexus, would you make this change? Very inconvenient. The navigation is really slow and painful to use, and does not respond well to voice activation. I also miss the 6 CD changer. The mouse pad is difficult to use, especially when you are driving. Also, there are no guide lines with the back up camera. My husbands new Jeep Cherokee has them, but the Lexus doesn't??? Bottom line, it feels like a full size SUV and the 2016's are even bigger. I won't buy another one of these. They had a wonderful car with the RX 300. I wish I had another one. Lexus pretty much ruined the RX 350 now. It's a shame. And the new 2016's are pretty ugly with that front end grill they have. It doesn't even look safe. Lexus, what are you thinking????

Good but not so good...
This is a very comfy luxury SUV. If you expect driving engagement, you will be disappointed. The interior materials are of very high quality. We do not like the mouse control as it is too distracting and doesn't work properly. Long drives never feel like long drives such a comfy drive.
