Competent Car - No pain entrance/exit.
Very comfortable, quiet ride. Nothing intrudes on my peace of mind while driving my RX350. I have owned almost a year and driven approximately 4500 miles both small town and interstate. I traded a 2016 ES350 sedan in for this SUV. Only had 2000 miles on it but just didn't please me. My lady friend has hip problems and found the sedan too low to enter and exit without pain. So, I traded down one year to the RX. The seat height is just right for the petite little lady. The RX styling is subdued and classical. It should stand up well over the years. The 2016 and 2017 Lexus front grill is outrageous in my opinion. A couple of years ago the Lexus dealer made fun of my 'buck tooth' Acura but seems to accept the snarling Lexus LOL. A word of caution: research not only the year car you want, but also read comments a year or two on either side of the car you are thinking of buying. I find that some people don't adapt readily to the 'newer' car in performance and appearance. They are often very critical of a newer model because they are so accustomed to the old car. But do pay particular attention to dealer experiences. Update: The RX350 is high quality in all respects: I have owned Mercedes, BMW, and Audi and nothing is better than the quality of my 2015 RX350. If you want a sports car look somewhere else, but if you want a quiet, smooth competent car that will retain resale value, this is it. I laugh at those that expect both plush, easy ride, AND sports car handling!! Come on. I am 74 and love my Lexus!!
2015 RX 350 may not be a sports car but...........
I read some of these reviews and think whoever wrote it either does not understand what this SUV is or should have bought a different vehicle. I knew going in this is not a sports car but it is a great SUV. I had a 2010 RX for 60K miles and did nothing but required maintenance. The battery died at 55K and Lexus replaced it free of charge. This 2015 is another fine trouble free SUV. Just did 15K service, 10K was free, 15K was $100. That's it so far. And this RX is quieter and more refined than the 2010. I am 60, owned all kinds of cars and this is by far the best ownership experience I have ever had. I use Lexus of Palm Beach in Florida and they are just great. They honestly strive to make you 100% satisfied and don't settle for less.

Most Practical Luxery Vehicle You Can Buy
Bought a loaded 2015 Lexus RX 350 just off lease with 24K miles on it. Not CPO. All worked maintenance had been performed at a dealer and was available for me to see. Paid less than half the sticker as the original sticker was in the glove box. Drives exactly how I expected. It’s not a sports SUV, but handles nicely. Ride is quiet and smooth... pillowy ride. Comes with the most dependable 6 cylinder gasoline engine you can get. I hated the new body style so that was the main reason in looking at the 2015. I paid $ 24,500 plus TTL and the car has over 14 months factory warranty left plus the extended drive train factory warranty. I’m certain I won’t need the warranty. Love ,love , love this SUV. Exactly what I wanted. Be sure if you buy one of these if it comes with Dunlop tires you switch to Michelin tires. The ride and road noise is night and day. I knew that before I purchased mine.

Oil leaking dependable RX!
21K miles, 3.5 years old. Oil Puddle on the ground. Dealer kept the car for 3 days. Diagnosed oil pass through hose leaking, fixed. In addition, axel boot was leaking lubrication; replaced. 3 weeks later noticed the oil puddle again. Timing cover gasket leaking, was the new diagnosis. Dealer kept the car for 6 days. The last repair was a $2200 bill ( covered under warranty). What happened to dependability??????? Since then has not leaked. 9/2022 : the Hood lift pistons have failed and do not keep the hood up. 4/2025 : 10 years later , the car is functioning properly.

Misleading Fuel Economy
I had a 2006 RX 350 for 10 years and absolutely loved it. I wanted to purchase the Volvo SUV but my husband convinced me to stick with Lexus since we had such a great experience previously. Unfortunately this 2015 RX350 is no that great. The navigation is very annoying and takes so long to enter an address, I prefer to use the map app on my iphone so can can just say the address and off I go. I really miss my armrest... I know its something most people don't care about but I like to have an armrest where it meets my elbow. My biggest complaint is the gas economy. It's supposed to range from a minumum of 18 MPG local. It only gets 14 MPG on average!!! which is worse than the V8 Ford Explorer Limited that I had from the 90's. This is a huge gas guzzler - thank goodness the gas prices have gone down. On a positive note, I love the seats, they are very comfortable with beautiful color option of "saddle"... or brown. It's very roomy and looks great. The service from Lexus is also always top notch.
