Luxury SUV? NOT!
Lexus calls this a "Luxury SUV." WRONG. I've owned many luxury autos and this isn't one of them. I tried to adjust but I just sold it with 2475 miles on the odometer. Cost me money, I hated this car! The reliability and build quality are some of the best but it rode like a cattle truck and the ergonomic design was stupid. Humans were intended to occupy this thing. The worst placement of some controls that I've ever seen. If you need to access a 12v outlet for a cell charger, etc., do it while stopped because you can't while moving. You have to remove two compartment covers and stand on your head to get to it. My son owns one a bit older and it's a great car. The 2010 redesign was a bust.
First and probably last
I bought this car fully loaded. I would not consider the stereo system to be premium. I feel the car leans too much on turns. On a highway, you can feel every bump in the road and I feel the ride is jittery and tosses you from left to right as you travel. Too much engine noise when car downshifts. Not expected in a luxury car.

Surprised
Have had my third Lexus in 6 yrs. I have buyers remorse on my new rx. The power ports are in a terrible location. The nav system is no better than my old tom tom portable. The features are not available when driving. Unlike other luxury cars, one has to pull off the road to execute the most used menus. The power ports are not hot when the iginition is off. There is no storage for the privacy cover. Radio, ac and vent selections have been removed from the dash. I think I liked my 04 rx better.
Excelent SUV
I've had the car so far for about 3 month and put on about 3500 mi, switched from the MDX to RX. Absolutely love the car, very comfortable interior, great stereo, very responsive engine. Great body shape. At first I thought I'd miss an extra room that I had in the MDX via 3rd row, but not really, I actually like that it is a bit smaller. The interior noise is practically nonexistent. Already trying to convince the wife to also switch to the Lexus
Fabulous ride
I've been driving a Mercedes ML350 which I've loved and have honestly always disliked the soft look of the Lexus RX. Always considered it an SUV for soccer moms. However, after test driving the 2010 RX350 I was so impressed with the acceleration, smoothness and overall quietness and quality, I went back to Mercedes to test drive the 2009 ML350 and it drove like a truck in comparison. I am now a very happy owner of the 2010 RX350. Yes, it still lacks visual muscle in terms of exterior design with Lexus obviously not wanting to scare off the soccer mom fan base. The dash is somewhat confusing and not the prettiest but the mouse navigation is terrific and the ride is just plain fabulous.
