My latest Lexus
Bought my first Lexus in 1989 - LS400. Have bought or leased 9 since then. The ride of this RX350 parallels my first ride experience of the original LS400 - quiet, safe, in command, plenty of power. I am still learning everyday the new features. Clunky GPS of my 2005 RX vastly improved in this model. Transmission provides great power on the hilly roads where I live. Safety features give me a feeling of confidence every time I get behind the wheel. Everything I hoped for in my latest Lexus has been delivered.
Far and Away the BEST SUV Ever
I am a single woman, so reliability is utmost! But combine that with total luxury, a smooth and quiet ride, great performance and this SUV is outstanding. My 2010 RX350 is my second. My first was purchased in 2002 and I drove that car until 2018. This car will never let you down and it is easy to have serviced. You don't have to take it to a Lexus Dealership for service. If you have a great mechanic, they can service most any issue. I have made many trips between Rhode Island and Florida caring for my mother. Not Once, was I ever concerned about anything with my RX350. Love my car!

New 2010 RX 350 - Lots of Systems Problems
My new 2010 RX 350 started off great. This good feeling lasted about 2 months until my first technical problem. Since the new Navi/radio system is so intricate and connected to everything, I've had problems with the climate controls, Navitraffic, XM Satellite radio and HUD display. I'm in shock. I thought Lexus quality stood for more. Well, my car has been back to the dealer 4 times, each visit averaging 3 days. Every time, the same story, we need to research this, we are unfamiliar with the new systems. I think I should have waited until they had gotten the bugs out. How frustrating my new car experience has been. Be forewarned.
Hot New Color
I owned a 2006 RX330 that the radiator cracked at 40,000. After limping into the dealership for a warranty replacement radiator, I thought I would browse the 2010. The Matador Red was glowing in the sun and I was wowed with the new design. I traded my 2006 in and have had the new one for 3 weeks. The driving is so sporty, tighter suspension, extremely smooth and quiet, great acceleration, always get compliments on color. Huge driving difference between 2006 and this new beauty. I don't have sports package but 19" chrome wheels. Luxury, comport and nav package with parking assist (which is awesome) and came with tow package.
The best got better...
As good as the previous generation RX was, the 2010 is even better. They have replaced the strut based rear suspension with a double wishbone style, this equates to more cargo space and better handling characteristics. They have a 6 speed tranny replacing the 5 speed, up in hp and torque, a new on demand style AWD system means better mpg (up to 28) you can lock it in as well. Smart key access means you never have to take your key out of your pocket and push button start is awesome. This is a car that is built around the driver. I have driven the Acura MDX, Mercedes, BMW X5, Lincoln MKX... none of them compare, Lexus is the best bar none; the cabin lay-out makes sense, the others are complex.
