I've owned 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees since 1994 & although I loved how those SUV's drove, reliability & repair costs were not fun. The '01 Lexus RX300 is everything I expected ... great performance, excellent reliability, & luxurious interior. Somewhat pricey but well worth it over the long term.

I bought an rx300 in sept. of 2003. So far i havnt had any problems or concerns, suv is still in same shape as I bought it in. A couple days later i was on a highway and the skid controld has saved me from plowing through an off ramp. I guess I was just going to fast without realizing it (engine is very quiet)and the wheels that skid braked to control the car. Im thankful for an great safty feature. This suv is well worth the money.

Brought my 2001 RX300 AWD/w Navigation in May 2004 the overall cars is nice, it has SUV performance with a luxury sedan style and drive. I got rid of my 1999 Acura 3.2TL for the RX and the ride is alot different. The pick up is alot slower on the RX, the leather in the RX is too soft, easily wrinkled. Both have all of the same features. Salesman at Lexus dealer-superb.

This is a WONDERFUL SUV. I did upgrade the tires to Pathfinder SUV and find they are better than the original ones. I've had really no problems of any magnitude. Would I buy a new Lexus again? Definitely YES!
