Right Mix of Luxury, Performance, and Reliability

Jun Lang, 04/04/2016

As a previous owner of BMW, I think Lexus GS 350 AWD has the right balance of luxury, performance, and reliability. Its cabin is quiet and made of high quality materials. Its ride is plush and comfortable. Its performance, although not quite as good as BMW, but is pretty close. On top of that, you get the excellent reliability of Lexus, which is far better than its German competitor.

Very pleased with our GS

In addition to a nice look from outside, the interior is really nice. The quality of the build, and quality of the interior finishing are completely "lexus-like" and expected from them...and they deliver. Car's quiet, handles great, has amazing safety and convenience features. Has some real pep and on the highway we just got 32 MPG. We considered an Audi, BMW and MB but think the ride's at least as good, the quality better and the anticipated reliability over the top of the others. We have a Nebula Gray, tinted, and this car is flat out classy looking. Very pleased.

2014 and now 2016 GS Fsport owner

Owned 2014 and recently traded in, got $2k equity for 2016 fsport. Excellent power, handling, luxury, infotainment, and all safety features (precollision system, lane departure, pedestrian alert). Love 4 wheel steering, heads up display and drive modes. Gas mileage could be better but for he money, you get lot of car. My 2014, just changed oil, filled gas and enjoyed ride. never changed tires or brakes and it was Lexus reliable!!

I am very pleased with my new Lexus. I am a previous Cadillac owner. I was very satisfied with the two Cadillac STSs I drove, but after the STS was discontinued that model and I found the CTS small in comparison, I opted for the Lexus. Another advantage is the Lexus dealer, compared to the nearby Cadillac dealer. A more accurate depiction of the Cadillac dealer is a mid-service level Chevrolet dealer who also happens to sell Cadillacs. The Chevy dealer team has a difficult time delivering a service experience consistent with a luxury vehicle purchase. 1/6/'18 update - I've now driven the car 31 of the 36 months of the lease. It may be the most trouble-free car I've had. The quality, fit and finish and reliability have been excellent. There are three minor points about the car I don't like, and their minor nature points to the quality of the car: 1) the three "stops" on the door hinges are at distances that often make it difficult to exit the car or easily reach the door to close it when seated in the car, 2) the turn signal lock does not operate conveniently and efficiently, and 3) the heights on the door armrest and the center console arm rest are not at the same height (the door armrest is too low) so on long trips the places where my elbows rest can be uncomfortable . . . clearly a first-world person's problem. I would characterize the dealer experience as an 85 on a 100 scale. One of the service writers would get an A, two of the others would get a B. Otherwise the dealer experience has been excellent - but to be fair remember I am comparing to a Chevrolet dealer who sells Cadillacs. Two sources tell me these cars may be discontinued, which would be a shame. I will likely buy it out of the lease because of that, and because I like the styling better than the car they are selling now after the 2016 update.

2015 GS 350 AWD Fsport

Peter P, 07/16/2015

This car is the perfect mix of comfort, reliability and quality of Lexus/Toyota combined with an ability to get up and growl. The engine/transmission combo are perfectly suited for many styles of driving. The car is perfect at interstate speeds when traffic is moving quickly and lane changes come frequently. There is no turbo lag or ridiculous gear count to get in the way of the task at hand. The Fsport is sporty, the ride is a bit stiff on certain roads but what remedied this to nearly perfect was a tire change to Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season plus (factory Bridgestone Turanza EL400s were extremely stiff). The Mark Levinson sound system was a must for me and has sweetened and matured to one of my favorite car stereos (including several aftermarket). The seats are dreamy, the cabin is quiet but not has hush as an LS. This is my first time with the brand and having sampled mostly German cars and one other Japanese, I feel the initial build quality is up there with the best.

GS350 KRUAT SLAYER -

I spent weeks researching, driving and comparing my GS with the MB E350 Sport and the BMW 535i xdrive. Both of these competitors were worthy, but neither put all the pieces together as the GS does. The ride and build quality are equal to or better than the Benz, while the performance is on par with the Beamer.. and the tech is far better than either... All three are fabulous vehicles and I like some aspects of each, however I have no question that I made the right selection in the Lexus GS.

A proper sports sedan

If you think Lexus couldn't make a proper, fun to drive sports sedan, the latest gen GS350 F-Sport is the one that finally gets it right. Quick, precise steering, grippy roadholding, and an engine that loves to rev and hold gear, is where the story begins. With the F-sport package's 18-way seats to hold you in place, accompanied with bigger brakes, adjustable dampers, and aggressive throttle mapping, "sport +" makes this car feel smaller than it is when you're hustling along. Basically what BMW used to be in its hey-day, Lexus has targeted with this car. It's back seat is a good size, though not as large as say, the current E-class Benz. The mouse based entertainment system takes some getting used to, but works fine otherwise, and voice-command is vastly improved from earlier iterations. The icing on the cake was the price of the '15's. The '16's were trickling in with some minor styling tweaks, but the '15s were thus getting hefty discounts across the board. It made selecting this car a no-brainer.

You will not get this level of reliability from European brands!!!! I leased this car as certified pre-owned when it had 35k miles. Now I already have 45k on it, and not a single issue on this car. Friends of mine have this car with +100k miles on it, and not issues whatsoever! I had an Audi A4 for 7 years, and drove 115k, that car started to give issues from 20k+. Never going back to Europeans!!!

Traded in our Lexus ES 300H for a sporty feel Lexus..... this car delivers on all aspects. Just finalized the deal about a week ago and I love how it drives and hugs the road on every turn, the interior is excellent and I really enjoy the new grill face. Everyone has complimented me on the color choice - Nightfall Mica with the Flaxen Leather and Walnut Wood grain. This car makes a statement!

I have had a 2015 GS 350 which I lost to hurricane Harvey and replaced it with a 2015 GS 350 F-sport with Mark Levinson sound system, and a few other options. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the first one because of the lack of sporty handling. I had previously had an Infiniti M35, 2008 model with 20 inch wheels which handled magnificently. The larger wheels and larger tires on the F sport and the sportier steering and suspension made huge difference for me. I test drove a 2015 Audi A6 with 20 inch wheels and although acceleration was better, I found ride, even in comfort mode somewhat punishing. And the Audi system was truly frightening and non intuitive. To put on a radio station There were menus within menus within menu. The motorized screen seemed hokey and trouble prone. The GS motorized rear sunshade makes huge difference in heat of summer, much more than I expected. The regular GS radio is great except for bass, I had to add a subwoofer to listen, the Mark Levinson system superb, significantly better than the ML system on the IS, which I also drove. In sport plus mode very similar to IS, however in Normal mode the comfort of the GS is far superior. I plan on keeping this car for a long time. Could be better on gas mileage, but used turbo F sports were not available. I have heard so many complaints about BMW reliability did not want to test drive one. Next car will be electric. Fine way to say goodbye to gasoline engine!!! If you are thinking of a GS F sport I don’t think you will be sorry.

A True Luxury Class Automobile:Four Year Update

I bought my 2015 GS 350 AWD 3 years old with 15K miles. It is a CPO. I've had it four years and can report that it has been an excellent car. The ride is smooth, the seats are comfortable, and it's a bit larger than other mid-size cars. I'll admit that the electronics took awhile to get used to, but once I did, they are just fine. On the highway, the mileage is 26. Around town, like 22. It drinks premium, which is the only downside, but all offerings in this class drink premium. I am very happy with my choice , and had planned to keep it 6 years, but may consider holding onto it as at 7 years old it only has 63K miles.

But embarrassing electronics. The navi and entertainment user interface is a joke. And it takes two screens just to toggle AC on or off. Truly embarrassing. But the car is bank vault quiet AND handles amazingly well. Smokes the 5 series and has a nice tendency to oversteer, like a great drivers car.

Nov2020 - Status is still the same. Great car if you take care of it. May 2020 - we still love this car. 60k miles on it now. During this quarantine we discovered if you don't drive it for a couple of weeks the battery dies. Lexus advised it's because the computers continue to work when it's not driven. Even though they are not pulling much power over a period of time it will drain the battery. November 2019 - we still love this car. No complaints. Everything still works like it should. May 2019 - The below review is still accurate. We still love this car. November 2018 - The below review is still accurate. November 2017 - I still love this car. Quiet, sporty, well built, all-around best sedan I've ever owned. Park Place Lexus in Grapevine, TX made our purchase a very pleasant experience. In and out in about 3 hours, including test drive. The car we chose had only 2000 miles and we paid $16,000 less than a 2016 comparably equipped, just because our vehicle was red. Apparently, people still believe the urban myth that red cars get more tickets, so Park Place was making a deal to move it. This GS is smoother, faster, quieter, and more comfortable than my BMW 330i was. The 6 year unlimited miles warranty on certified Lexus is unbeatable. We originally looked at the RC350 F Sport, but moved the GS for more room and comfort. GS is just as fast anyway, and offers more trunk space for traveling.

One of the best cars I ever had. Coming from a Cadillac that was a lemon this is very refreshing An all around solid vehicle with no mechanical issues. The navigation and mouse to navigate it has to go. It's the one thing Lexus will change because of the complaints. Other than that. This car rocks!

This car has a very high residual rate on return. Very dependable car. Lexus cars don't break down. This is my third GS and these cars are so high tech in performance, interior and road ability. Beautiful exterior great sound system, and excellent quality. I have surveyed several cars in the GS class and I have not seen anything that comes close to what Lexus has to offer. I highly recommend the Lexus GS 350 AWD.

Still Amazing After Three Years Of Ownership!

I just purchased a 2016 GS350 F-Sport (White Exterior, Red Interior) five years ago & I'm super impressed with this car overall. It replaced a 2017 IS200t F-Sport that I drove for a little under two years & loved that car, but needed to go back to a larger mid-size sedan (Previously Drove a 2015 Toyota Camry XSE V6) & for a few other reasons as well, mainly the engine & cupholders. I've driven several ES's & RX's as loaners which have soft seats & a cushy ride with secure handling, but bland driving dynamics. The ride & seats in the GS are both firm compared to those vehicles, but still agreeably comfortable & typical Lexus smooth even in the firmest Sport + driving mode & does a better job at soaking up bumps than my IS did. Handling is agile & much more fun to drive than the ES & RX. I'm in my late 30's & prefer more fun & agile handling with a small sacrifice in comfort. The V6 is a gem of an engine. It's very smooth, sounds great & is a perfect match for this car with just the right amount of power. The interior is true luxury quality with lots of leather & soft touch surfaces even on the lower parts of the dash & doors. Mine has the 17 Speaker Mark Levinson audio system which sounds amazing as expected & is easily the best sounding system I've ever experienced. I bought mine used with 41k miles for $31k after taxes. It even has the original window sticker in the glovebox & was priced at $58k when it was new. It looks & feels much more expensive than what I paid for it & has over thirty more features than what my IS had. I put almost 50k miles on my GS & has been perfectly reliable so far as expected. The car has been absolutely amazing with plenty of features for the money, I'm really into cars in general, mainly sedans & is extremely hard for me to find a car I like better than this one as I would easily buy another one as of now & I'll likely be saying that in five years from now! It's that good! It still puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive it, especially on the highway at higher speeds. I know there are better cars out there, but this car is as good as it gets for me at least for now & will likely last for many years with little to no problems.

The Importance of Being GS

Gerald Gutierrez, 09/18/2017
2016 Lexus GS 350 4dr Sedan AWD (3.5L 6cyl 6A)
13 of 16 people found this review helpful

Ideally designed as a conservative, red-state, luxury performance car, the AWD GS 350 looks modest in every direction one approaches it, that is until you put it into drive. Then, any notion of modesty slips off, the sports-mode turns up the heat in red, and you leave the ordinary playlist of luxury sports cars behind. It eats Jaguars and Maseratis like so much breakfast cereals. It impales BMWs and Mercedes Benz of similar class like Count Vlad of of Transylvania. And it does so with minimalist effort, as though dropping off the kids uniforms at the cleaners.Nothing about this car speaks of its great style and handling better than owning one and driving and driving and driving. The only drawback is that it is a beast in sheep's clothing. Never knew that gas could be consumed so quickly, by such a fuel efficient engine. But, test drive it. You'll see what I mean.

I had a BMW 7 Series in the past and was apprehensive about buying used luxury. Found my 2015 GS 350 F-Sport w 33k miles on it and it was certified. Long warranty gave me piece of mind. When I drove it I was hooked. I read enough to know how much a difference the F-Sport would make. So glad I did. The car in Sport + mode is a totally different car. You can feel the shocks, engine and the handling difference. The engine blitzes from 45 mph to over 100 so fast! I know it's not a V8 but in F-Sport you dont feel the need for a V8. Being ale to go from absolute luxury to a sports car with a twist of the wrist is sweet. Some people complain about the nav interface, it's not the most user-friendly but I don't mind it. The best thing is knowing that Lexus' last a long time. My BMW 7 was in and out of the shop so much I loathed the car and almost gave it away. If you buy a Lexus, invest in the F-Sport! You wont regret it. If you want a headache, buy German.

Happiness on Wheels

I'm a huge Lexus fan! My first experience with the brand started at age 11 when my aunt purchased her 2001 Lexus ES300. I still remember seeing it in my grandmother's driveway when she came to visit at a family function - Black with tan interior, moon roof, 6 disc cd changer, and those interesting wheel design. I was a car fanatic and one can argue that this experience put me on a path towards Lexus ownership. I used to accompany her to the dealership during maintenance time and leave with 3 or 4 brochures for all of the models. My favorite was always the LX..and the GS. Primarily because they were still pretty rare. The brand was known for reliability, comfort, value, and safe styling. --- fast forward a few years, in 2012 I got my first Lexus! A 1999 ES300! This was a great car but I craved more performance, so in 2015 I purchased my first GS! A very well maintained (100k mile) 2006 GS430, V8!, Red with Tan interior, V8! heated/cooled seats, GPS, reverse camera, parking sensors, 18-inch wheels, adjustable sports suspension, keyless entry, V8! sport mode for the extra get up and go, RWD, rear shade, and did I that amazing V8 growl!? The quality was top notch, it was a good look for a young professional as I'd started my first business and felt I deserved an upgrade. After a long day I really enjoyed the commute back home. I enjoyed the safety as well -- my wife basically took the vehicle from me, she looked better in it, plus I knew our two children were safe. --- my review will be written from the perspective of a previous GS owner upgrading to a newer model. By 2018, we'd moved to Nashville, I traveled across town often and new grew tiring of the fuel economy so I my wife utilized the vehicle more and more, it went through quite a few sets of tires, and at 150k+ miles it was time for an upgrade. So for my birthday in June 2018, I went to my Lexus of Nashville dealer with a simple request -- a GS350 F-sport with a red interior. (I must pause to mention the Lexus dealership experience is a big part of Lexus ownership -- they are like family, extremely knowledgable, very dependable and a joy to talk to when you're on site -- I still pick up brochures for other models.) With that said, I picked up a certified pre-owned Lexus GS350 f-sport AWD, 30k miles - Atomic Silver over red (Cabernet), the huge infotainment screen, beautiful crafter interior, superbly comfortable/adjustable seats, f-sport package, heated steering wheel, plus all of the other Lexus features I'd grown accustom to. From the moment I set eyes on it I was in love, amazed that this was my life. Although, I got the L Certified pre-owned designation, I still debate about this to myself as I am a big believer in Lexus reliability so I wonder if the extra cash was worth it, regardless, the experience has been amazing/uneventful as I've had it for one year now. It fits in well at cars & coffee meets, plus the wife really enjoys it. Compared to my GS430, I do wish that the sport mode and controls to make the suspension firmer could be seperate to make it a more effortless driving experience. However, I think this is where the car challenges you -- reminding you that driving can be an art form if done properly. I read complaints about the infotainment/mouse controls but it's actually very simple to use, and is a major upgrade compared to the 430. Plus, the hvac controls are easy to access, playing music via bluetooth is seamless, I'm not sure what everyone is doing to get so upset with it but I don't interact with it that often -- setting destinations in the GPS takes a little patience but that's life, although sometimes I use my phone, no biggie. I do not like the space between the wheel and fender caused by the AWD system, I've thought about coil overs to lower it, but again no big deal, I just think other automakers integrate it better. Lexus did not do anything amazing with the technology in this one compared to other automakers, but I think future pre-owned buyers may appreciate them not taking any major risks here. The driving experience is amazing, good for long cruises out of state or short trips to the store, at any moment I can go from enjoying a nice cruise to punishing a Mustang -- effortlessly, and quickly/safely slowing down when nearing law enforcement. (haha) All in all, my experience with the 2015 GS350 f-sport AWD has been amazing!!! I 100% recommend it to everyone seeking to make a statement or seeking to reward themselves, it's a stylish, easy/inexpensive to own/operate/maintain - I only have to spend on fuel and carwashes/tire-shine, the LCert covers all other maintenance for now. Hopefully this helps your research and you can go pick up the car you've been watching before someone else does!

This car is handling more and more like a German car. Not typical of Japanese car, steering has more feel.

A few years ago I bought my wife a 2015 GS 350 - Certified Pre Owned. I think that this is a great way to go. The car had around 30,000 miles on it and due to the CPO program it came with several free services. I paid around $30,000 out the door. My wife is not a car enthusiast - she likes a car that is reliable, luxurious and isolated, and she likes a good dealer experience. I think that this is the perfect car for her. Previously, she owned a 2008 Infiniti M35 and then a 2012 Volvo S60. I have owned a Mercedes SLK230 and a BMW 335i. In my experience, a lot of German cars tend to start having issues around 80,000 miles, which is when I tend to get rid of them. However, this Lexus should have no problem going to 160-200k miles with almost no problems. It has been my experience that once a car starts having problems they just keep happening. So if you think about comparing this GS350 to a German car (Audi, BMW, Mercedes), I think it is fair to say that you will get 50-100% more "reliable usage" out of this car. So if you look at it that way, buying a 3 year old Lexus is a lot like buying a brand new german car for half the price. Now I would be the first person to admit that the Germans make a car that is more fun to drive. However, I think that for a person looking to own a car until it is 7-10 years old, this Lexus will be dramatically cheaper than its competitors, especially if you buy a CPO car.

Really fun to drive. Love the F Sport Instrumentation. Like the adaptive cruise and lane keeping. Extremely comfortable front seats and quality of finish and materials is outstanding. Feel like I got a good price since it was a new 2016 at $8000 discount from list. Only one with this equipment I could find. Had wanted a used LS but could not find one with the safety features. Decided to buy this and consider new LS coming out in the fall at a later date.

Beautiful finish and exterior. Like a shark-it's quiet comfortable power and control sneaks up on you. Refined luxurious interior. Latest tech.-more than you'll probably ever use. Awesome sound system, steering, brakes, tires, seats, and handling. Test drove competitors - not one of them compared - kept coming back to the GS. Built in is the ultimate test of a quality vehicle -reliability and safety-you've got it here! Lexus bumped themselves up a notch with this car. Find out for yourself and buy it.

I have a 2015 lexus gs 350 with the fsport package with Mark Levinson sound, park assist and blind spot monitoring. So far it’s been a good car. The car is very quiet and well built. The handling and steering are superb (in sport plus mode). I have taken it on a 2000 miles summer road trip and it performed flawlessly. The seats are comfortable and the ride is soft and quiet, an excellent highway cruiser. I also like the interior styling (red leather), very comfortable, soft and luxury. The multimedia control is a little difficult to use, you have to finest it. So far no issues with this car. I bought it because of Lexus reliability but now I love the Lexus luxury a lot more.

Beautiful, sporty car with a few things missing

I’ve had my GS 350 F Sport AWD fora year and a half now and it is without question a beautiful car—fast and luxurious; a real head turner. As you know, Lexus only makes luxury vehicles so if you think a loaded Camry is the equivalent of, say, a Lexus EX 350, it’s not. I’ve driven them both. You can load a car up but it’s still essentially the same car with leather and some tech features. Lexus (Infinity, etc) are born and bred luxury cars. The GS 350 F Sport has the advantage of being both sporty and luxurious. I can't really speak to the mileage yet because it's so new. I'm getting about 17 mpg city. For those of us who’ve had sports cars, the GS 350 F Sport is a natural evolution. Additionally, the Lexus buying or leasing experience is superior. They are very fair and easy to work with. You don’t leave thinking you could have done better. These numerous benefits aside, I’m surprised at some of the features the car DOESN’T have. I traded in my 2013 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid because although it looked sporty and had luxury pretentions, such as leather seats, it was neither sporty (as in fast with good handling), or luxurious. What it did have that I will miss are: • Blind spot warning in both side mirrors • Rear parking sensors that beep as you get closer • Touch screen radio with channel identifier This last point may seem small but in real life it’s very nice. The Ford was a very uncomplicated system that would let you touch the station you want instead of scrolling through the channels. In addition, it would label each Serius station (Howard Stern, Highway, Lithium, Classic Vinyl, etc) instead of just giving the preset number, which requires you to memorize what station they represent. The sticker on the Lexus is $25,000 more than the Fusion. Lexus ought to rethink these things and give the driver everything a $57,000 car can offer. I suppose if you've never has these features you won't miss them, but they should be standard. **Update. Now that I've had the car a year and half, I still think it's a very nice car but, to be honest, if the Lexus (or any premium) name doesn't mean that much to you, you can get a very nice sedan with similar features for $20,000 less. I don't mean to be dismissive of this fine car, it's just a personal opinion. My next vehicle will likely be a Jeep.

Defective Navigation System - 2016 Lexus GS 350

Now January 2019 and still the same issue unresolved by Lexus. I just drove a 2018 Lexus and it has same nav defect. The Nav system is still defective and Lexus/Toyota has had 4 updates and still doesn't work correctly. The corporate management (or lack of) in Torrance and Irvine,CA don't respond to certified letters or calls to their 800#. My 2 portable Garmin gps units work perfectly but Lexus/Toyota doesn't. I even used my Garmin in the dealers car and his didn't work but my Garmin worked perfectly. I have written certified letters to the US Torrance HQ (VP Bracken) as well as their Western Region office (Irvine) and have never received a response. they just ignore me and the issue. Both the Riverside Dealership and the Newport dealership cannot fix the nav system. Lexus 800 # is totally useless. Navigation system goes to dead end road and says home is 0.2 miles away.

Love this car!!! Right at 2K with only good things to say. Work at an airport and often driving near jet aircraft. Amazingly quite with the windows up!! Fun to enter a freeway in Sport Mode. Great ride at freeway speeds with Mark Levinson sound system! Drivers seats so comfortable, have to remind myself I'm on the freeway and not in my living room. Not sure I'll ever learn and use all the technology built into the car but amazed at what I've learned so far. Love this car!!

Love my 2015 GS 350 F-Sport. It's super smooth, spacious, and sexy. The lights are bright. The infotainment system isn't the best but I mainly stress over the music and that's easy to control once you learn how to properly use it. All the features you would want like BSM, Park assist sensors, reverse camera, rear window shade cover, Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound, etc! Best Vehicle in it's class for reliability and comfort.

Absolutely love this car, from the quality of the interior to the smoothness of the ride, I’ve owned 2011 350 4matic Mercedes Acura’s and Audi’s a6 s-line. But this Lexus gs350 f-sport well exceeded them all. Japan’s reliability quality and engineering of the lexus is outstanding. I will never look back at anything else, lexus will always be my choice.

Purchased this car for my wife who drove it for 2 years and passed to me after getting 2017 Acura MDX. This GS is simply an outstanding value if you are looking for a luxury sedan but not willing to pay premium for a Benz or BMW or Jaguar. Reliability is second to none. Gas efficiency is excellent. The only couple of cons from me are 1) mouse for instrumentation must be replaced with touch screen. 2) Need to be updated with all the latest safety features. But that goes as a general thing - its been too many years without redesign of entire GS line. From reliability standpoint its great as car is 100% solid. But it's time.

Where do I begin.. this car is a DREAM. In the 2+ years I've owned it I have had zero issues. Solidly, well built, handsome interior appointments, and beautifully aggressive exterior styling. Plenty of power to get-up and go, the sound of the V6 rumble is addicting. I've taken it on 4 cross country trips from CA to MN and back, and each time it has been a pleasure. This thing can haul a** as well as cruise like you're in a airline. If you're not pedal to the metal, you can get up to 350 on a tank, straight highway cruising. Otherwise around town the MPG is a bit disappointing around 220 or so on a tank. But I mean hey, this vehicle is WELL worth it and the styling is ageless, someone asked me at the gas station if it was a 2019 model. Plan on keeping this baby for years! I will note - do not purchase a RWD model if you live in snowy climate. If there is snow on the ground you may have to wait till it melts, or is plowed. You will get stuck. Lesson learned.

Bought a 2015 CPO F-sport - should have driven it longer than the 15 min. test drive. Very Very disappointed ....I normally keep my cars 6-8 years.....this one I've had 1 month, and cannot wait to trade in for something else......should have gone for an AUdi A4 or MB C300. Here is my view......POSITIVES......- Looks nice, F-Sport adds to the sporty look, quiet on highways and for sure will be extremely reliable having owned toyotas . NEGATIVES - Acceleration is bad, unless driven in Sports/Sports plus mode which kills the gas mileage.....no torque at low speeds and the transmission seems to get stuck in higher gears too long (kinda defeats the purpose of an 8-speed Tranny). Seats are rock solid leather...no comfort at all.....Metallic Gas paddle/Brake look nice but very hard on feet ......handling is so-so, and harsh with the 19 inch wheels......No holder for sun-glasses (really ? my toyota has it) ; no visor extender to block sun (again, my toyota has it).....Complicated electronics....too many menus to go thru for simple tasks.....and the mouse like controller is a PAIN......bottom line - overpriced for what you get.....4-cyl acceleration with 6-cyl gas mileage. Going to trade mine in soon while it is still under CPO warranty.....
