Used 1996 Land Rover Range Rover Consumer Reviews
The Best 4x4xFar
Bought it last year with 115,000 miles. Very few problems so far. The 1995 model year has a few quirks, such as air bags that make it very difficult to add aftermarket grill guards and other things. Added a roof rack, an ax, and some other goodies. Great stereo.
New Rover Owner
I can't believe how inexpensive the classic stlye Range Rover has gotten, esp. years 1995 & prior. This vehicle is awesome and full of luxury features all standard. I'm very happy to finally be a Rover owner. This vehicle is a blast to drive.

An Expensive Investment
I have just sold my Rover after having owned it for about 4 year. When this car is running well and all electrical items are functioning it's a blast. It's incredibly expensive and frustrating when things are not operating. Be aware that being a Rover owner is a HIGH maintenace and expensive job.
The best SUV out there
I have owned my Range Rover for only a few months now, and I bought mine used, obviously. I have had no problems, nor hints of any problems. It drives better than any SUV I have ever been in, handles like a sports car. I shouldn't even have to get in to it's off-road capabilities which, by the way, are amazing. I was told, being a recent college graduate I shouldn't buy one, because of their maintenance record, and expense to maintain. I'm am certainly glad I didn't listen. The 1995 Range Rover County LWB is my favorite of all the Land Rovers ever made, and I couldn't be happier with mine.
Too expensive.....
Although this is a solid ride unless you have deep pockets don't consider buying this SUV. In 5 years it has left me stranded to be towed in 5 times, $6000+ in repairs and unable to sell or received fair market value for trade in (on another Land Rover no less) at Land Rover dealership. In the dealerships words, "This is a high end vehicle so expect high end costs." We will never buy another Land Rover.
